I think our family's paying for 6-8 Mb/s, so I can't really call this a good result. But it works fine for what I'm playing.

OMG!! The worst pingtest i ever saw:scared:

Oh really?

This was mine a while back when we were having major problems with the line (That problem is fixed now, but it's still pretty slow)

Not bad for plain old copper wire:

It's only costing me a tenner a month too.

Decent enough for posting occasionally here, I think.

I think my work Internet is just a pipe line with a few guys running up and down delivering parcels of data into the computers here.

Actually it's not too bad but isn't on par with more developed countries.

Here's mine.

Not too bad eh? My Hard-drive would be the limiting factor here..

hmm this doesn't rate too well it seems but my internet is pretty quick and downloads don't take too long at all so I'm happy with it

Cox are now throttling my connection. Time to switch up.

Here's what I got. Is it good or bad?

Edit: Tried again with a different server.

I have both cable and DSL, if one goes down then I have the other as a backup. But DSL is the primary for most everything I do. I'm hoping we can get fiber sometime in the near future.

Internet at university:

Poor by most university standards, but at least I now have a stable connection with half decent ping, rather than 100+ ping at <1Mb/s like I was getting at home. This is the minimum that we're getting, it's usually in the 3-4Mb/s range.

(Oddly enough the HSDPA/3G connection on my phone is faster than this)

No idea if this is good or not, but I suspect the latency isn't too bad:

At home

My phone (HSDPA) gets 2.4mb/s Download and 1.7mb/s Upload

On my laptop, wireless.

Seems kinda meh for me.

Was all impressed with my little record from Uni today, and then came here and saw the 588mb/s one.

Well I'm going to post it anyway. Screw you all!

First speedtest and pingtest with my new computer.
