The Chaparral 2J just because it reminds me of a washing machine.
The Bugatti Veyron just because its only good uses is going straight.

Like most people here, the J2 and Toyota 7 are my least favorite cars in GT5.

But thats what makes NASCAR unique. They are all about using old simple technology. :dopey:

Even more fun to watch when it comes down to the finish line, the top 3-4 cars finish with in 0.01th of a second from each other, as well as 15-20 other cars finishing in the next second or two.

Personally, NASCAR is my favorite motor sport. Where else do you see 43 cars racing at 200 mph all bumping bumpers and the time distance from first to last is 3-5 seconds? No where.

BTW, this is coming from a guy who has watched 24H Le Mans, F1, Touring Car Championships and WRC all his life.

Grow up guys.

To watch maybe, but to drive...

The Murcielago SV when you first buy it. Oh, when you give it some softer rubber and take off the weight a little it turns into a beautiful butterfly but stock, on its Sports Hards it might as well be shod with four stone wheels. It's an amazing car in potentia, but starts out as a really damn annoying car.

I am not a fan of the M5. It just feels as if the body is not firmly joined to the suspension for some reason. It gives me a very odd sensation when I drive it... may have to try an upgrade.

My pet hate currently is the Audi S3. Specifically in the Extreme Euro Rome Race, because the Artifical Incompetent "at the wheel" weaves it from side to side at the start which is a real pain when I want to shoot past when I am money grinding. It is only ever that car that weaves. All the other cars just try to drive off normally.

Me too.it felt weird driving it at first, but then I stuck comfort tires on the m5 and it was ok thereafter.

Most annoying cars:
- Jay Leno Tank Car
- Lotus Elise from TG challenge. Elise is not bad car, those 🤬 tyres ruin everything.
- Insight/Prius/CR-Z. I mean, what's the point of them in a racing game? I'd rather drive a Tesco shopping trolley than any of those.
- FGT. Maybe it's my driving, but I cannot find out when I'll lose grip. One moment, everything is ok and half a second later I'm facing opposite direction.
- Caterham Fireblade. Great power-to-weight ratio made me expect great acceleration. When I first drove it, I felt cheated. Biggest disappointment of the game so far.
- NASCARs. They're okay at Daytona or Indy but they don't work at other circuits (apart from SSR7, maybe). NASCAR championship shouldn't be held outside Indy or Daytona.
- Those pathetic old little cars (2CV, Beetle, 360). What's the point?
- Old VWs. Pointless.
- Classic 500. I think I've seen a youtube video when one of those couldn't go up the hill one of rally circuits :ouch:

FGT. One minute I can get to first at somewhere like Monaco then I make a mistake and restart and can't do it again.

NASCARs. I don't watch it and never will. Daytona in the NASCAR Series is impossible for me to do plus with the AI bashing you every 5 seconds doesn't help.

Bash them back... that's part of RL NASCAR and what makes it fun. :)

BTW - After finally getting around to driving one, I find it really hard to believe that a $1,000,000+ Ferrari Enzo handles this bad IRL.

The Audi R10 cos Polyphony screwed up making this giving it 6 gears & spitting out flames, even if it's a diesel! Also, some of the engine notes are wrong like the Veyron & Sauber C9 & the diesel racers sound growly too even though they make barely any noise, well the 2010 spec 908 was fairly growly at le mans this year though!

Bugatti veyron, NASCAR, and Nissan GT-R Spec-V I maxed it out, spent forever tuning the steering.....to find it understeer some more

ZR1 RM and my tuned ZR1, both bought on advice here, hoped they would help me fill in some of the races on the two highest levels, not even close, big waste of money.

race cars are too hard to get for people who dont play 24/7.

The Elise in the Top gear challenge, god damn.

4hrs of utter frustration, banging my fist on my racing table, head shaking and swearing that would have you think i was a escaped mental patient. Not someone trying to drive the real driving simulator. And that was for a damn bronze trophy :grumpy:

I absolutely loathe the Lexus IS-F Racing Concept '08. It sounds cool when you read the description, but boy, it sounds like an ape farting after constipating. And to make it worse, it's as slow as a snail on a steep hill. I seriously wish I could take that beautiful looking body and put it over the IS-F RM's engine and chassis and exhaust.

Now excuse me while I go barf due to the fact it's not sellable.

The veyron, I don't like em because ALMOST EVERYONE USES THEM ONLINE it's so annoying, same with the X1

LP 670 SV handles like an arcade car.

I watched a documentary on Automobili Lamborghini and the guys at factory said this thing will take your head off if you are not careful. Very disapointed by how tame this "raging bull" is.

The Lamborghini Gallardo. I absolutely despise this car, so much that I sold it after that one event. Quite a shame though as I love how it looks.

The McLaren F1. Doesn't hanlde worth a damn, is very slugish in acceleration, and most of all doesn't achieve the 231mph top speed! Not even the Stealth F1 hits the kind of numbers the real one does, and it even has some additional racing/sports upgrades. It is the only car that I use Skid on when I go to grind a series. Worthless car, glad I didn't have to spend 1 million credits to find out. Heard the Enzo doesn't handle much better. I barely finished Dream Car championship and I even had to skip a race because of rain and then I had to race on a rainy 24h Nurb. 👎

THe Mclaren F1 only hit its top end by removing its rev limiter, the McLArens with wings are well known to be slower because of the drag and I would hardly say it doesnt handle. Unable to control =/= bad handling.

Kubelwagon and Schimwagon very expensive was needed for seasonal event and no matter how much you mod them they get up to 100mph and then die until they slow down to 90mph stupid pieces of 🤬

The Ferrari 599.. great for drifting.. but has absolutely no clue what a cornering line is.. or how to turn... at least on deep forest... on Monza its fine

TURN YOU GODDAMN AUDI R10 without spinning!!!

Otherwise I'm getting my ORECA 908 out...

I find that the Ford GT punches way above it's weight in term of handling and speed. I find this annoying because I have found that some people online this car is all they use and in makes for boring racing.

That one Mitsubishi electric car is the most annoying thing in the world! My ears couldn't take it anymore after about 5 minutes

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I really loath the Nissan R89C. Especially after I blew 3.5 million cr. on it thinking it would be good!!!

Very fast in a straight line then... smooth turn in, gentle adjust through 1st corner... good... accelerate down next straight... good... next corner same approach and adjustment, then WHAM!!!! There you are stuck in the wall with everyone else flying past - no warning, just a sudden and aggressive snap to oversteer. Thanks for that, lesson learnt!

Use the Minolta or 908 instead...

EDIT: Did actually manage to use it successfully in 'Like the Wind'... still don't like it though.
