Your most annoying cars?

Ferrari Enzo.

I love this car, but it annoys me to no end that I can't find a decent tune for it. Massive understeer = massive problems.
 
1. NASCAR wheeled p-pots (they're so ridiculously bad it's just not funny anymore)
2. Japanese cars (I used to like them but GT5's 1,000+ Skylines changed that)
3. Corvettes (apparently the only non-Japanese car in the game)
4. Jay Leno Tank Car (another extremely bad joke)
5. Delorean DMC (500,000 credits and about as slow as a Prius)
6. Ferrari F10 and F2007 (22,500,000 credits and can't use them in ANY events)
7. Chaparral 2J (I think it actually IS a washing machine)
8. Ford GT (Kaz's favoritism has it perform too well, plus there's like 100 of them now)
 
Dodge Charger '70

It's my favourite car IRL but they have the wrong model! The '68 or '69 versions were so much better.
Also it just feels so lifeless. I appreciate it's a big fat American car but the game just can't portray any of that aggressiveness that old muscle cars should be full of. And the sound, it's just inaudible and nooby :@

The GTR Spec-V understeers into oblivion :grumpy:

The LP670-4 SV grips and grips and grips some more and then..........just kills you, you CANNOT drive that car over the limit -___-

Ive learned to play nicely with the murcielagos.. if youre smooth with them theyre pretty damn quick..
 
The SV is pretty manageable to drive. I love the 458 Italia, but she demands a delicate throttle finger. Totally wears my hand out driving that car, but it looks and sounds soooo good :D
 
why does everyone keep saying the lotus elise? you guys do know that in the top gear challenge they put you on the worst tires in the game and i believe no aids. its supposed to handle like ****. that's the point of the challenge. If you buy the car and put better tires it actually doesn't slip out that much because. IMO
 
the lamborghini gallardo is a huge let down, i was assuming it would drive like the R8 5.2 because it uses virtually the same engine, but no, where the R8 is explosive and nimble, the Gallardo is slow and tame, just a let down...

The 2J is a vaccum cleaner, not a washing machine.

Seriously, why is everybody complaining about the Chaparral's. The 2J is ugly, no doubts, but is simply the best old racing car in the game. WAAAAAY better than those 20 million cr cars. The Chaparral cars were known by the EXCELLENT aerodynamics, the 2J had grip in every single corner. Technically, nobody could beat one of these.

Well, I hate those JGTC and japanese drift cars, they have too much stickers.

Yes.
Lotus Elise is known as a great handling car, so the point of the challenge is to show that even the best handling cars can be made horrible, in a true Top Gear humour.

When I first tried this challenge, I was like "OMG LOTUS ELISE WHAT A ****** CAR", but then I bought one for the British Lightweight Championship and then I was like :eek:

Maserati Gran Turismo S because it sounds nothing like the real thing in the game. Same with the Murcielagos. I'm waiting for the day when a video game company can figure out what a Murcielago sounds like because they almost always sound just like the Gallardo. Drives me mad.

To the OP, Gillet Vertigo. The undisputed KING of understeer! I love the unconventional looks and the god-like power to weight, but it pushes so bad it should have been made by Caterpillar.
 
Bugatti Veyron, it took me awhile to get a grip with it.
By grip, i don't mean traction.. :indiff:

That along with the race modification's makes the car fantastic. It's one of my favorites right now..
 
Having spent the morning reading this thread I had a good chuckle at some replies.

I found the NASCAR to be really fun to drive in the extreme NASCAR series. As a sport to watch I can't stand the blasted sport.

Cars that wind me up in this game is the bloody Prius! On an episode of the UK topgear a Prius was driven around the test track as fast as it could go for a number of laps , an e90 M3 followed and just had to keep up. Guess what? The m3 returned a better MPG! The point is there is no place for the Prius on the race track, not now , not ever!
 
Annoying ?? For me there is no annoying Car in GT5. I like to collect all and drive them atleast once.
Then I decide if I tune the them to the maxx or just do the non-power-change-tuning (Tranny, Flywheel etc). I have 60 Cars as Favourits at the moment and that are the Cars I ride the most and like the most, but I don´t have a Car that annoys me.

Especially when you win it twice like me -_-
 
I must admit I find no car annoying really, I'm aiming to buy and use and take photos of EVERY car in the game (hence why I was so annoyed with the 1mill trade cap recently!). I've had fun from the Subaru 360 and trying to get it competitive in the Kei car cup up to the X1. This is one of GTs strengths, it offers such a vast amount of cars to try. It's also one of it's weaknesses as it's obviously a nightmare to get the physics on all of them right. I too hate NASCAR, I understand that you can see everything and there's loads of overtaking. But IMO it's condenses the "action" and it devalues the "action". It's like changing the rules of Football (soccer <-hate that term!), have just the penalties areas so everyone can have a good view of the goal mouth action and have multiple balls. Scores would be in the hundreds, but some of the best goals build up from the goal mouth of the opposite end rsulting in multiple accurate passes up the field until the goal is scored....NASCAR just does away with the subtle build up to overtaking. BUT (back on topic) I actualy like the cars in the game, HATE the ovals, but it was interesting to throw one of these behemoths around a track.

Just thought, yeah I do find the 3 crap Premium VWs (you know the ones!) annoying as hell, because it means 3 better cars were not made premium.
