I voted 9/10, for pretty much the reasons that have already been given. There need to be more cars on-track, the cars need to have more of a clue how to drive, the series races haven't been properly implemented, you should be banned from using TCS/ASM in Pro, and there needs to be a more intelligent cars/races selection: namely no F1s/Le Mans cars in the Amateur League etc.

what happened to.... enjoy the game as it is ?
 
I give it a 9/10. The races are great, but I have 2 critiques:

1. Not being able to change your oil during a series race. Just NOT right.

2. Although I like racing, some of the races are just TOO long. Some endurance races and a few of the series races could be shorter, but that's my opinion.

Anyway, in spite of these, I LOVE this game. I definately look forward to GT4. That game sounds like it will ROCK!!

1. The AI cheats. (But, when he cheats, I cheat right back!)
2. Poor begining car selection. (I dont want a Miata. I dont Trueno. And I most assuredly do not want a POS PT Cruiser!)
3. Left some of my fav cars out from GT2. (I want the Skyline Silhouette Formula R30!)
4. What's up with all the model specific races in the begining? The model specific races should be held during the middle part of the game.

Based on the way the game looks and handles, I almost gave it a 10, but, I just couldnt do it. Hope they are corrected in GT4.
 
I have already voted but would just like to have my say on a few points that have been mentioned.

1. More cars on track = less detailed or slower graphics. The PS3 should not suffer from this problem though. Sure I would love to race against more cars but wouldn't want the graphics to suffer. Sports Car GT on the PC had this problem. When I had a Celeron 366 it sruggled a little with 6 cars. My P3 866 was acceptable with more cars. My P4 1.8ghz rocks with a pack of 16.

2. I want longer races. Not all races but Endurance races are called endurance for a reason. I think the shortest should be lengthened and have a few more of them and definitely one for every track. Also the shortest races are too short in my opinion.

The graphics are fine... The PS2 CPU can not process the games engine... That is one advan of X-Box, the GT graphics are unreal played on the Box... Perhaps the PS3 will address this short coming of the PS2

What? "diubt it"? :confused: What are you talking about? My first car was a Trueno. And it was a piece of 🤬 !

On a lighter note, I finally got a Impreza Sedan WRX STi Version VI today. That car rocks! Now, if I can only save up enough money to get a VSPEC Skyline, I'll be set. :D

Didnt have time to wait for the GT bucks to obtain cars, used the 9 trillion cheat, screw it

Fair enough, but the whole purpose of this thread is to point out the good things and the bad things, what you like and don't like, so if you give the game 10/10, fair enough, but there are always going to be people out there who do have some sort of niggle. Me, I wholeheartedly agree with Giles.

In addition, you should be banned from using TCS and ASM on the 1/4 Mile, 1km and Top Speed tests.

I've given GT3 a 8/10
That's 'cause I miss the older cars (AE85, Starlet Turbo, etc.)
And I miss the "realistic" tuning stuff... like choosing a make of a turbo or something (like Greddy, HKS, etc.)
