Your preparation in GT Academy

If you guys were being competitive in GT Academy, what kind of preparation or trainning are you people been doing or would do? Do you guys keep playing GT6 demo all day non stop or doing other useful activities too?
 
I play the demo whenever I can, also the last few months I've been practicing online races with other GT Academy hopefuls.

On the fitness side, I do press ups, sit ups, pull ups, the plank, powerball. I do cycling regularly, I do the multi-stage fitness test once or twice every week since the start of the year.
 
I'm ineligible this year but I usually play basketball for 2 hours or so a day (running excercise), mass dodgeball, and then during winter I snowboard.

Granted if you find out you qualified, and need a quick workout plan... from watching the past two seasons and talking to friends who have competed, I think that running or playing aerobic sports with friends would benefit the most for the least amount of effort.

I have a very small frame and just rule out strength training, because it isn't necessary for what the competition demands.
