IIRC The Stage II doesn't show up in the UCD

i think the 2j is pretty rare

been looking for one for a long time! it popped up once but i didnt have enough money then

rare cars that can be traded isn't so bad, its a legit trade, just find someone that wants to do it.

It might not be that rare (IF at all) , But to *me* the Lamborghini Nomad Diablo was the rarest. For all the time i spent on GT5, I never saw it on the used car dealership.

The only way i got to drive it was by doing the borrow glitch from a friend.

I've had a particularly tough time finding the BMW V12 LMP car and the second Viper GTS-R with Chrysler badging...I have a couple of ZZII's and whole they don't show up in the UCD often, they by far aren't the rarest

The special DLC like Chromeline cars and the Edge camaro are worse performing than the NCD variants, which is why people don't use them

Shouldn't count DLC cars. But i have and that I know of (because of gave away those codes for that car) about 30 plus people that have that Camaro

If you're going to count DLC, then any of the NTSC Stealths are rarer than the Edge. I personally have one and have given out more than 40 codes to people for the Edge Camaro.
Anyways for rarity it's moot to figure out what is rare and what's not, since any cars that are not DLC can be had via borrow glitch, and any DLC car can be had through modding your game save file. So, rare? There are none left in GT5.

DLC, preorder cars, gt academy cars, etc would be the rarest. Those aside I don't think there is any car that you cannot get from flipping tickets. Is there?

Edit:If my theory is correct all cars can either be acquired from a ticket or the ncd meaning there isn't really any "rare" cars. Unless you count what your chances are of getting a specific car from a ticket. For example 1 in 64 chance of getting a specific miata from a level 2 ticket. DLC etc aside. (Just an example I'm not sure of the odds or levels of the miatas.)

I'm lucky enough to have traded for one ages ago then got another from a ticket i got in the seasonal the other day xD

Overall I agree though. Since the trade limits came in, it is very rare to see one. Although that could be because no one drives them online
