This build steps up the parts you actually touch. The Gran Turismo DD Extreme (18 Nm) wheel bundle is a big jump in power over the 8 Nm base in our Gran Turismo Sweet Spot rig, and it includes the larger diameter, licensed Gran Turismo wheel. You're also getting a set of pedals with a load-cell brake (it responds to how hard you press, not just how far the pedal moves) and a clutch. For PlayStation drivers who want a serious upgrade over our more budget-friendly rigs, those are the parts that make the biggest difference, and you can get the whole setup for less than $1,800.

It all mounts in the Fanatec CSL Cockpit v1.5 and Seat Bundle, which gives you a solid, comfortable driving position.

The cockpit is the one real compromise here. It can handle the larger and heavier DD Extreme wheel base, but you're starting to push its limits for serious use. You could get more stability with a heftier cockpit, but as always, that costs more. It's up to you to decide whether that's worth it, or whether you'd rather just enjoy the upgraded wheel and pedals as they are.
