Im looking to host a four hour endurance race on the type V layout of the Nurburging Nordschleife on Friday 23rd march

Race starts at 9PM GMT (lobby opens 1 hour before)

The cars are as follows:

BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01
Audi A4 Touring Car '04
Audi Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car '02
Opel Astra Touring Car (Opel Team Phoenix) '00
Vauxhall Astra Super Touring Car '00
Audi R8 LMS Race Car '09
Nissan FALKEN GT-R Race Car '04
HKS GENKI HYPER SILVIA RS2 '04
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car

Please add me to the start list - I already posted that I'm interested in this race.

One question in terms of cars - what about Mercedes touring car ?
If we can't take the same car twice then I would like the Mercedes or FTO touring car if it is allowed.
 
I'll use the Audi TTR TC car I suppose, since its the only one I have from the list...

Sorry R1600Turbo, I jusr prefer to have my endurances races on a friday night so that way it doesn't take up my whole saturday.

What about some reference times guys? I know it is an endurance of 4 hours so it is not so important but I'm about 8:20 per lap... tyre wear is the issue :scared:

8.10 is my best lap time but that's running offline in practice mode, I'm sure it will be different when I go online.
Haven't done any longer stints yet to test tyre wear.

I might be online this weekend for some practice sessions if anyone's up for it

I dont think so beacuse everyone is setting the car to 600PP, you'll be in disadvantage... but let's see what loskey thinks :)

You can use this if you wish but with everyother car running 600pp you wont be able to keep up so rather pointless
 
Is there a chance to do this race on some other date ?
I have NASCAR race in 30min (it will take at least 2,5h) and if this4h race starts at 9PMGMT it will end at 2AM in the morning - too late for me :(
Maybe we could still do some poll ?
 
it will finish at 1am for me too.

having the race at this time will ensure that all races are mature adults and not kids. this will be my 3rd 4 hour endurance race and they have all started at the same time

8.25 is my best time online, the car is so much more 'loose' online
 
I haven't notice that the race has been moved to 23rd - good :)
Will we have any other cars available ? - like Mercedes touring car ?
I think it is worth checking online what cars fall to touring category (in room settings - if possible ..)
 
I've got a lobby open if anyone wants to test. Same regs as the race
