i tested HKS GENKI HYPER SILVIA RS2 '04 in offline. fastest lap - 8:31 (race hard) time is ok? Or so slow? What time is necessary for a "reference point" 8,20? maybe 8.10?

Don't forget it's a four hour endurance race. So yes you have to still be quick but it's important to pick a car that you can handle for along time time. No point having a quick car if you cant keep it on the black stuff

Hi,
4 hour race without the "fee" for fun is not good. Given the fact that the start time is too late - it is also not good. In any case, take note of:

psn/sen id: Kimi_Rain

car: Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car '97

thanks

I don't think Audi R8 LMS Race Car '09 should be allowed ... - isn't that the LM car ? As far as I understood this is Touring Cars only race ?

If it isn't I will need to think about some other car.

But drift car HKS silvia is allowed! In the list of cars as I have already understood from the tests, no balance is present.

Please delete me fully, cant race in friday 23 th, sorry

Sorry guys been really busy with work so haven't had time to keep an eye on this thread.

To be 100% honest all I was hoping for was a decent endurance race on the world's best curcuit. I haven't had time to test what cars are suitable and whats not.
Im 30 years old so I cant spend all my days on GT5!

When gippone suggested a car llist I was happy to go with that.

Im going to say no to DLC cars as not everyone has them.

At the end of the day im not going to win this race and I no it. I just want to have a decent race with real people driving the other cars not the cr@p AI.
All cars are going to be limited to 600pp so it will be fair to everyone.

I'm not going to get into a argument about what's a touring car and what's not.... lifes too short.

If you want to join in next week then great, if not then no probs

I'll be using the FTO super touring '97 next friday :)

Just to not let this topic get forgotten - any training sessions ?
I have time today if somebody creates a room.

I am thinking about switching to something 4x4... Audis are 4x4 I think ?

There are 2 4x4 in the list

Nissan FALKEN GT-R Race Car '04
Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car '97

the big thing is tyre wear (no matter which car used), I can do only 3 laps with tyres... the fourth will be dramatic :nervous: :scared:

What type of damage will be set for the race ? Light or heavy ?
What penalties ?

I would go with light damage and strong penalties so that people wouldn't quit on first lap due to damage and would not cut too much...

In overall I hope people who signed up for the race will last for whole 4h - even if you spin out remember it is 4h (almost) people will spin out especially on worn out or cold tyres.

As for 600PP cars 3laps is quite nice I think ?.. I will do some testing soon.

Could anyone who is in and didn't forget about the race please post in the topic again so that we would know how many of us will be there?

I'm going to set it to light damage.
The 'ring is too long to use full damage.

Also going to use weak penalties, for this, so you are punished for only 5 seconds instead of 10

Also 3 laps sounds about right, if you try and squeeze in a 4th and cock it up
It's along way back to the pits

So the race is tomorrow ?;)
Only 9 people - not good :/
I still haven't tested anything but I will be all set up by the race time.

I hope people didn't forget about the race and will be there...

I'm interested in being part of this.

I have a few questions though:

Grip reduction real? - if yes, i'm in.

No SRF? - if yes, i'm in.

Tuning allowed?

BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01

yes the race is tomorrow night!

i would prefer to have 10 people who will stay to the end rather then a full room and most people leave.

Looking forward to it

Yes, real grip

Yes, NO SRF allowed (its cheating)

Yes tuning allowed

I'll add you to the list :-)

This is why i picked the BMW.

Initial testing shows that i can go 10 seconds per lap faster than Stuck!
Tyre-wear is massive though.

Might have to sacrifice some speed for tyre durability.

Looking forward to the big race tonight.

PS: Do we run qualifying and then a standing start?
