  • Mode: Arcade > Time Trial
  • Physics: Professional
  • Track: London Forward
  • Make: Germany > Mini
  • Model: Cooper - S '06
  • Drive Train: FF


Vehicle Specifics:


  • Driving Aids: Optional
  • Transmission: Optional
  • Tyre Type: N3 / N3
  • In-Race RA Functions: Optional (if available)


Race Specifics:


  • All is track,just do not hit any walls.
  • Your run must be done while being OFF LINE
  • The use of the clutch is prohibited


Standard Clean OLR Rules:


  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • run-off areas are not part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no hybrids
  • no cheating of any kind,these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done,and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • save your replay

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.
To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Page' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay' option.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 03 Submission ) to (Sphinx):



  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final lap time
  • the deadline is Monday 24 November 11.59pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:



  • Racers ,named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

I had some test laps on this one and here's the splits from my best lap so far .. 16.650 / 34.401 tricky but fun! I'll be back :cheers:
 
I just ran a few laps, the mini is great on N3's, feel's very real, and nice and tame compared to last weeks combo.
Sam is going to love this one. :)

Here are my early splits,

T2, 0'34.648

Ive only ever done about 5 laps around this track so this could be interesting trying to learn a track as well as trying to be competitive.

A quick stab at it gave me:

T1 - 0'16.923
T2 - 0'35.432

Huge difference from last weeks combo. The understeer feels a little frustrating, but I'll get used to it.
 
i just tried 7 laps so far i have

T1: 17.636
T2: 37.042

after a few more laps i have

T1: 17.259
T2: 35.715

a lil bit quicker

Absolutely LOVING this one! Feels like I can compete with wheel users again :)

T1: 0'16.864
T2: 0'34.780

I've seen 16.6 at T1 so I'd like to shave some tenths of this 👍

I've only driven enough laps to pass the events required.
My least favourite track I do hope I get the time to give this a shot though. 👍

This'll make a change from hurtling round on the actual London roads in my real Mini. :D 👍

Getting stuck into this one right away, only anaged some high 35's at T2 so far so will post proper splits when I get some 'proper' times.

Why are we encouraged to share our splits from our best laps for the Leaderboard? is it to stop us looking like sandbaggers at the results?
When I post my splits and get ignored by the official updater for 2 races on the trot! .. it gets a tad annoying :rolleyes:
It's not really that big of a deal I just would like some kind of explanation as to my exclusion lord bigracer? have you got some grudge with me or are you just blind? I know I prompted Dan to the situation in race 2 and that's why I was updated to that one!

anyway for the record you can stuff your leaderboard where the sun dont shine as I don't like having to prompt people of my participation 👎 from now on I will race whenever I please and share nada 👍

It seems that no matter what the auto login is set at this account always logs in to the playstation network when ever I sign on to my GTP user account. Anyone know a way to stop this besides disabling the internet in the network settings? I would really rather not go through entering the wep encryption key over and over again.

edit: Ok, it seems that it saves the wep key even when you disable the internet, just seems a pain that I can't disable the auto login.

Seems like there is a lot left. I don't know if its mostly learning the correct lines, or learning to not cook the tires so much.

I also have auto login, but what I do is pause the game using the big PS3 button, then sign of in the far right of the XMB, then return to the game 👍

Here's how I'm getting my best laps:
- Slow down early for turn one, and get as close to the armco on the inside as possible.
- Use 3rd from T1 to T2, and brake early for the long right.
- Use 3rd for the final corner, brake and turn in at the end of the orange barrier on the left.

And @ Mr P: Grow up and stop behaving like a baby. You were overlooked once, maybe twice. When you see that your time is not on the board, send a PM to one of us (e.g. bigracer, EDK, Denur) and we'll put you on. Now, get back behind that wheel, or what ever you have for a controller and make us shiver again. 👍

And while you're at it, please put your division and controller in your signature, thanx. :)
