#AcrossTheHorizon Heads North: Choose GTPlanet’s Next Off-Roading Adventure

Forza-Horizon-3-AcrossTheHorizon-NorthernOntario

The #AcrossTheHorizon tour has landed in Northern Ontario. Xbox Canada invited GTPlanet to join in the festivities to celebrate the upcoming release of Forza Horizon 3, and this is the third leg of the cross-country tour. Just as we have on the earlier stops, we need your votes to determine what activity we do next.

Up here in the quiet town of Dubreuilville (population: 900), we’ve been presented with two choices. Option A is taking Polaris side-by-sides off the beaten path into ravines, mud pits, and rocky terrain. Option B is exploring abandoned quarries and mines in a Ford F-150. Before you ask, no, it’s not a Raptor.

You can cast your vote by heading to Xbox Canada’s Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Simply use the #AcrossTheHorizon hashtag on the relevant post, paired with either “A” or “B”.

After a brief scouting drive in the Polaris pack yesterday, we’d be lying if we told you they weren’t an adrenaline rush. Being subjected to the elements makes it all the more vivid, and the sense of speed as you’re whipping through the undergrowth or catching air is second to none.

We’ve also got a brief clip of some of the exploits in Saskatoon. While the tour of the city’s bridges won the popular vote, we couldn’t resist getting in a little track time in the C-Class first. Take a look at how that turned out below:

Our own Canadian tame racing driver wasn’t quite tame enough, it seems. Whoops!

We’ll have more to share from the Northern end of Lake Superior later today. Keep checking GTPlanet’s Twitter for our exclusive first-hand experiences as the trip unfolds, and head to the official #AcrossTheHorizon site for all the details on the entire tour.

I’ve never really wished to be part of the GTP staff but boy do I wish I had been to have an opportunity like this, tons of cool stuff happening on this trip.
