I didn't like Crack The Skye. They did way too many drugs for that album. Leviathan and Blood Mountain had just the right amount.
I'll agree insomuch as the lyrics are as out there as the entire space premise, but instrumentally it's quite good. I got it after hearing Oblivion as a single. ;)

The Stone Sour one is a great listen-through album, save for ZzyZx Road or whatever it's called. Could care less for that.

Nice. Now buy a ton of Cowboy Coffee and French Roast Decaf.

Is the Cowboy coffee a brand or a type of coffee?

Both are varieties of coffee by Coffee People. I don't think they're currently making Cowboy Coffee... amazon is all sold out of it and it was a limited time thing. But damn, it's good stuff. I find that Coffee People make the best K-cups, but I only like full, dark roasts. You can't go wrong with any of theirs and their Donut Shop variety is also a darn good medium.

Anyway, keep this website on your radar: http://www.cupoftheweek.net/ It's like the woot of K-cup coffee.

I've got 2 Samsungs ... a 46 and 52 inch. They are totally awesome :)

Mine aren't LED however .... too expensive and too new for me :sly:

Is that a 40 inch screen and if you don't mind me asking, what does something like that cost where you live ?

It's 40 inch and it set me back 880 euro. Which is less than what I paid for my regular Samsung LCD that I got a few years ago. :)

*update*

With the advice from a said member above I went ahead and ordered this...

I also ordered a variety pack from Coffee People

Crack was much more progressive... I loved it and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I seriously doubt they will ever top Leviathan or Blood Mountain as they are pretty much perfect in every way.

I bought a 4 pack of this stuff

$7 well spent. :)

I was going to welcome you to the club, but then I saw the little blue guy in the garage. :)

How do you like the Accord? Personally I can't get myself to like the sedan from any angle. Sometimes the coupe is nice. I did sit in a sedan in the dealership one day and couldn't believe how big and roomy it felt compared to my Civic. Very comfortable too, but then again I think all seats are going to feel like a well-worn sofa compared to the sport buckets in the Si.

Was this by chance one of the refurbed wheels? If so, how is everything on it? Anything noticeable that points to it not being "new-new"? Just curious, if it is "new-new" then disregard

My latest purchases...

This isn't so much my latest purchase, as what my latest purchase does:

moooooon1.jpg

Not perfect, but it was a first attempt without using the ideal camera settings (because I don't know what they are) and photographed manually (adds vibration) indoors through double-glazing (double-image). And then auto-contrasted in Photoshop :D

The purchase is a T-adapter and eyepiece replacement to fit my Canon EOS and Skywatcher telescope, for reference.

Lower the iso settings and raise the exposure, or just one of those two. I've actually wanted to do that with my telescope, but don't have the money for it.

£30 bought me the adapters, from a UK site called Telescope House (helpfully appearing on my credit card as "Telescope Ho").

Much of the noise has been introduced by Photoshop's autocontrast - though as I say, it was indoors, through double-glazing, in a built-up area, with a badly set-up telescope, with the camera doing the auto settings and my finger on the shutter release making it wobble. Until I hop up to the moors and try it unobstructed, with a timer release (or ideally a remote), I won't get as good a photo as I can. But as an experiment/learning experience, it's cool as :D

For $120AUD for basketball.

Which I needed to get my new laptop going. Dell XPS M140, may not be much of a laptop but it's the nicest computer i've ever had and it was free so I can't complain. :) Thinking about a memory upgrade up from the 512, and even considered getting a little faster processor for it from ebay. Just not sure yet if it's worth putting the money into it, or if it's even necessary.

If you switch the image from RGB to CMYK and play around with PS's 'Curves' colour adjustments (has a separate channel for black adjustment that RGB doesn't) you'll probably get better results over Autocontrast.

It's such a completely inappropriate start point for the type of photograph that not much can rescue it - it's always going to look crappy when brighter. It's just the start point to illustrate the purchase :D

I've just ordered an iR remote shutter too. To the Moors!

In regards to the Keurig coffee machines: How are they with tea?

My wife wants one of these and we have been looking. My mother has a Flavia, which is slightly pricier for what appears to just be bells and whistles. But the one issue I have is that I do not like coffee. However, I love some Earl Grey in the morning. I have noticed that every brand of machine has Earl Grey available, but only to order online, so I can't just pick up one or two to try on someone else's machine.

My biggest issue with trying to use a primarily coffee machine for tea (based on what we have at work) is that often there is some coffee residue in my tea, which makes it taste nasty. At work I have to run two cycles of just hot water (free, thankfully) just to get some tea that tastes like tea.

Boss BR600 this is seriously one of hell of a piece of kit. Can't wait to learn how to use it to it's full potential! 👍

Uh, just run the machine without a cup in it and then put a teabag in the hot water. Actually, for the 2 minutes it takes to turn the thing on and wait for it to heat up, you could just nuke a cup of water.

They actually sell Keurig tea things. If my wife gets one I would try using that.

Plus, it would mean filling my travel mug, without all the heating it in the microwave in a safe glass and then transferring it to my mug.

Ah, the grueling path to convenience.
