Bought this at the weekend and already watched it four times....

...utterly brilliant.

Scaff

Not really a purchase.. more like a Christmas present that finally showed up. Still, I'm quite happy to have them.

This should free up some much needed space on the DVR. I can finally delete all those old Top Gear episodes I'd been saving.
Do those have the full episodes?

My weird purchase for this week (which won't arrive for two more weeks, but whatever):

People shouldn't let me have money.

Birthday present to myself:

If I understand this correctly, they're partnered with Verizon so I should get signal.. Anywhere I pretty much want around here. No contract, $45 a month, unlimited everything. Loving it so far.

May I ask what exactly that is? :)

I've been wondering if any more seasons were going to be released. Have to grab them sometime Friday.

Darius II is a 1989 arcade video game by Taito. It is the direct sequel to Darius, first released in arcades in 1989. The arcade version kept the same three-screen format as the first game. The power-up system changed slightly: to obtain power-ups, the player had to destroy complete waves of a particular enemy.

Something like Gradius and Raiden

Lol. That game has the wackiest weapons powerups.

Little late to the party, but after 2 years of Tiger I thought it was time for a change.

And that. Because I'm a good boy and don't want to download it all illegally.

Of course for being a good boy and paying £270, Adobe want to punish me by making me wait an undisclosed number of days while they 'assess the validity of my case' for being a student and (crazily) wanting to own a student copy of their software package. Ironically it would have been less of a faff to just obtain it illegally... Not that I can condone such things, of course.

Got some JM Melton cap-toes in Bordeaux color:

Only 16 WW (4E) laceup that I could find and I'm praying they fit. It totally sucks having big feet.

Battleship Yamatoe has arrived:

...and funnily enough, they're too long. Gonna try a 15. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to actually be a 14 so I can get some freshass Allen Edmonds instead.

It was just $10 on Newegg and the demo seemed fun enough for an arcade racer.

PGR3 is better in my opinion, but PGR4 still is pretty fun. The Ring in the snow is awesome.

PGR3 was not in the sale. Basically when it comes to me catching up on older games I see them on sale, try a demo/borrow a friend's, then buy it if I like it. No sale, no buy. No demo/friend's copy, no buy. The only exception to this trial rule is if it is so cheap that I won't care if it sucks.

You can probably pick up PGR3 used for next to nothing.

But then that means entering <shudder> GameStop.

It doesn't look like Gamefly has enough copies available for sale.

The PC Engine CD port of a mediocre Gradius clone that I really only bought because I want to play it on my PSP (but I'm certainly not going to buy a copy that doesn't include everything). And damned if I buy the version that came out on the Genny that has neither the epic soundtrack or Tuna Sashimi.

Though I suppose I could have just bought the Saturn version...

I can haz telemetry on my RC cars?...

Apparently so - Comes with one std. receiver w/o telemetry and one with - should be here tomorrow!

Pretty decent so far (all of an hour and a half :p) and for only $20, I can't complain.

Couple of pairs of sneackers from foot locker, on sales:

The DC ones for everyday stuff and the etnies for the dance classes. 2 for the price of 1 :D

I just bought the Official Sony BluetooF headset. Says its out of stock but will be sent in 3 weeks :(
Gimme a shout if you think there is a better headset for roughly the same price (around £20) please.
:)
