Bowtie52 wins at Daytona and Aceboy127 wins the Championship.

Daytona Speedway 11-13-11 Championship Week.
Aceboy127 got the pole. Everyone was trading positions seeing what there car could do in the draft ageist the other cars. Lap 9 Aceboy and Bowtie52 where racing hard for the lead and going into turn 3 Aceboy slid up into Bowtie and sent him down into Greest_lightnin and then bounced back up into Ace witch sent them both spinning down the track. While all this happened TrackBound7 took the lead. Bowtie was able to get back up to Greest and draft back up to TrackBound. Aceboy was able to hook up to the lap down car of PropFouler and draft till pit stops started. Lap 25 Greest makes the first pit stop of the day. Bowtie and Aceboy come in on lap 26. TrackBound comes in on Lap 27. The running order after pit stops is Greest, Bowtie, Track, Aceboy and PropFouler.
Greest had a 14 second lead on Bowtie witch was running by him self. Track, Aceboy and Prop all ended up on track together. They where able to draft up and catch Bowtie by lap 39. By lap 45 the pack has caught Greest. From lap 45 to 48 the pack was trading positions back and forth. Lap 48 Greest and TrackBound run out of fuel in turn 3 and 4 and have to pit. Last lap Bowtie Leads Aceboy in to turn 3 Ace goes high and then gets back in line. Entering the trioval Ace goes high again with a good run on Bowtie witch moves up the track to block and they touch. Just as soon as they touch Bowtie pulls down the track at the line. Bowtie wins by .001 margin of victory. Good Race.

Championship was tied between Aceboy and Bowtie so there was to be a 10 lap shoot out at Indy Speedway. Aceboy lead in to the 1st corner and Bowtie’s car Swoped ends and hit the wall. Aceboy drove to victory. It was a fun and wild season Congratulations to Aceboy. Hope to see you all next season.

Somehow after an awesome race at Daytona I managed to pull that one off. The Lap 9 incident looked to be my fault. I got into Bowtie's left rear he started turning around, then went and bumped greest, and then came back up the track and got into me and we went for a nice spin. The .001 difference at the end was just amazing.

Congrads goes to Ace for an incredible championship win.

Another huge congrads goes out to Bowtie for creating such an awesome playground for us all to play on. Great season, great format.

Thanks guy I had a lot of fun racing with all of you guys. Next season will be just as fun I think.

Yes I agree fantastic job Bowtie, great season and lots of fun racing.

Well if he is adding a road course, then I don't think there is much for me to worry about other than you Bound. I would like to know what the schedule will look like for next season, but I think I have a general idea.

Wow. Pretty bold statement.
I mean road course wise, because I was very fast at the road course event before. If there are 2 road courses that should only help me.

I believe he had mentioned that he was going to get rid of Daytona Road Course for next season and I believe he said he was considering High Speed Ring and Indy Road Course.

Trying out some tracks and playing with tires and HP. Schedule for next season is not ready yet.

hmmm...interesting
Don't give away to many details now, would not want to ruin the surprise for anyone.

HEHE, all right 👍

Indy and Daytona road courses are very similar in that the "road course" parts are completely flat, with some high speed time in between. Let's also consider the possibility that Mr. Bowtie may opt for a track with elevation changes. That would require a set-up that is relatively more difficult to dial in.

Highspeed ring, on the other hand, is a completely different animal.

It all depends on which track(s) he picks. To assume you have an edge, IMO, is somewhat presumptuous.

I am thinking about having like a bud shootout at Daytona Speedway before the season. Between winners and pole winners from last season, and paying out 1 or 2 cars for money for winning. What do you all think?

I am just saying that I had the upper hand at Daytona Road Course. I would like to think I am a road course specialist in this series, along with TrackBound and Mick. I mean when we went to Daytona everyone basically picked me to win, because of my quick lap times. Am I saying that it will be that way at every road course probably not, but I believe I have a good chance at road courses. Ovals on the other hand, well...

I'll donate a car. It was a fun season, once I learned how to pit...:dunce:

Well yeah, that would be sweet.

Homework Assignment
Hey when you guys gets a chance test this out for me and email me what you find and thoughts please.

1 No super charger should put the car at 614hp
2 Med Racing tires
3 Highspeed Ring.
(fastest lap and Slowest lap without crash)
(how many laps before car is all over the place)

Then do the same thing on soft racing tires and let me know the same stuff.
Just email me the results. Thanks guys

online correct and I will do this in a while.

Last night I was checking replays of a race from Tuesday. I will give this a shot this weekend. I would be curious about racing hard tires too.

I'm testing the hard tires right now at HS Ring. I'm also testing IMS Road Course, Monza, and Deep Forest. I just wont to know what the fail off is at HS Ring and how many laps all my road course specialists :sly: are getting out of a set tires. To help me pick what tracks and how many laps I'm adding. Thanks for all the help guys you don't know how much its helping me right now.:)👍
