The main issue I take with user tracks are learning brand-new tracks, something I never agreed with to well. :banghead:
The shorter the user tracks, the easier they are to learn. Plus short tracks fit these slower cars much better. :)
 
I think that depends on the person. I can learn a custom track, depending on length, in about 4-5 laps.
 
All the generated tracks are pretty same-ish once you drive on enough of them. If I turn on the driving line I've found it really doesn't take long. Without the line it takes probably 3 times as long due to the penchant for blind corners and zero brake markers causing me to crash constantly.
 
The issue with me and custom courses is that since I use bumper cam, blind corners are absolutely frightening. I literally see nothing until it's way to late to compensate my inputs so the first few laps are an exercise of crashing right into walls because of understeer or touching the grass on exit and spinning out. It's one of the few times I want to learn to drive using the roof cam instead.

Still, it only takes me 5-10 laps to get decent* times.


* Decent means about a second of Jason's time :lol:

so, when are we track testing... i just finished dinner and have a couple hours to spare.
 
The more user generated tracks you drive, the easier they get, because some of it's recycled.
