I wouldn't get your hopes up for a magic bullet. Every alien replay I've ever looked at was just better technique. Even in GT-Academy when we had the luxury of downloading single-lap offline replays which could be dumped into the data-analyzer. The graphs between my pb and an alien time were always 99% identical. Aliens just have naturally "good" habits that give efficient braking and earlier throttle application.
So since you're already very quick you'll most likely find out the same thing I did. You're finding the fastest way around the track just not executing it as efficiently.
I did a practice with Aderrrm and quickly found out I was off line in two places. Now I'm down to a 31.2. I'm still off line in one other corner, and if I can just get my car to turn in and remember to downshift at the right point, I think I can get a very high 30.
When comparing lap times, I break them into 4 catagories, depending on the size of the track. Here, I go by seconds.
Same time as an alien = I'm on the wrong tires or track

Or I got a halo lap, which I'll never repeat, so it's irrelevant anyway.
One second or less off the fastest lap set by an alien = I'm probably using the right line, just not using efficient driving. This is where I always try to aim for. Normally I can get this with practice.
Two seconds off = most certainly off line.
Three seconds off = I'm probably on the wrong tires, completely off line (custom track maybe), or we're driving super GT 500 cars I can't do that well to save my life .
