A very sick G25.

well, did she have a good run? How much use did you get out if it?

My G25 has been abused pretty regularly (maybe 5-10 hours of driving per week) since gt5's release in nov '10 and still feels as strong as day 1.

Logitech. 👍

So, what does the poll prove so far?
A. That DFGT users like polls?
2. 323 votes doesn't give a proper cross section?
C. Some wheels haven't been available very long?
4. I should've gone for a G27 instead of a T500?

All in jest of course.

It's looking that just under 1/3 of GT5 drifters use a DFGT...

I am in awe of the response to this poll. Maybe PD will have a quick look and see how many of us are serious about this s***. Polyphony, your customer base is interested in immersion. Will you pander to the great masses, who aren't governed by their own minds anyway? Or will you start listening to us- the ones who truly, deep down, wish to see you excel, prosper, and DOMINATE this industry.

I didn't end that last sentence with a question mark because it shouldn't really be a question.

I got mine 2 weeks after Prologue so about early April 2008. Did all of GT5P and every race on GT5... It has served a good life and been though high's and low's.

When it does die I'll be upgrading to G27. but...

Logitech. 👍

Given that it is a Logitech who knows when that'll happen, prob another year

DFGT. I've had it for about 1 and a quater/half years. Still works just like new 👍

Speaking as if you've discovered a new way of pooping***.
This poll isn't representative of the millions of people who don't use steering wheels, unless you know the majority of GT players have steering wheels which is unlikely that that's the case.

PD added G25/G27 support and have been improving the driving feel of the DFGT, at least.

True... We would need much more voters worldwide but I predict that the DS3 would be the most common.

the G27 is REALLY closing in on the DFGT now... Great response to this poll, guys!

thanks to all who voted.

In my country the price difference between DFGT and G27 is huge, U$228 DFGT - U$412 G27. ¿Is the G27 so superior to pay it? I'm still trying to save money for it, any advice will be great.

I started GT5 with a DFP but the USB cord/connection started acting up. It is a real bummer to be doing good in a race and suddenly *poof* nothing, and then "Hello wall". So I acquired a DFGT relatively cheap and was pleasantly surprised at the difference. The DFP was very good but a little slow centering, the DFGT is a lot better and a bit quieter. When financially able it would be nice to upgrade further. Switching to a ffb wheel back on GT3 was the best thing I ever did to enjoy driving games. I highly recommend it!

Dualshock, why? Because that's what I'm good with.......and I can't afford a decent wheel....... :(

Currently G27, but looking to get a good deal on some yummy fanatec stuff with their load-cell brake and all :D

DFGT
That broke and was put in the garbage last night and picked up this morning

But ordered a Thrustmaster T500 RS and Shifter today

nor real spce to put a wheel.

That is pretty much my other reason I don't own a wheel, I just don't have enough room, maybe when I get an apartment, I can have enough space to buy a wheel and playseat.

I picked up a DFGT last night and spent a little while trying to decide whether to use it with Manual or Auto gears - on the Ring seasonal!

Quite a baptism of fire! It is a totally different game using a wheel - loving it!

Same I recently got one, I would suggest learning to drive manual with the paddle shifters and after a while you won't even have to think about changing gear it just becomes natural. It is a lot more fun driving a wheel than ds3 especially round the nurburgring at high speeds, really requires a lot of concentration. :)
