Not many people using a driving force pro...I'm glad to add the toll for this wheel :)

The Driving Force Pro has been out of production for a long time now. It was a great wheel at the time 👍 .

If you look in the Argos catalogue and you find the cheapest one, I use that one. It's alright, after 2 years it doesn't work though

Driving Force GT, great wheel at the time I bought it.

"Non Force-Feedback Toys-R-Us wheel"

I lol'd heartly.

When you make a poll at least make it so that it contains all the comercial wheels, not this joke.
Where's GT3RS? Also, already been done, wrong section too.

Technically not in wrong section because it's about what wheels people use to play GT5 (somewhat related to GT). And give him a break, there are many wheels out there and more wheels to come...

DFGT, DFP, DF, G25, G27, 911 Carrera, 911 GT3 RS, 911 GT2, 911 Turbo S, CSR, CSR Elite, T500RS are the basic ones. Not so hard, ain't it?

Well, it took over 500 votes and several pages of positive replies before you showed up to defecate all over the place.

If this thread is such a joke, how about you spend your precious time and energy making a better one? Wouldn't that be more constructive and helpful to our community? Surely you can create something to beat the pants off of this here amateur joke thread!

:dunce:

Thanks again to the 500+ voters! You guys rock!

It looks like out of the 500 people who voted, the most popular wheel among GTP users is the DFGT.

poll revival! Haha. Even though the DFGT itself is the most popular, many consider the logitech G-series (g25/g27) to be one entity- so the G-series, with 35% of the votes (200/555) should be given a bit more respect than PD has decided to give.

I know that an update finally gave some 'support' to the G-series, but we still don't have the options that some of the other, less popular wheels have in this game. It sure wouldn't hurt to have adjustable dead-zone, linearity, and saturation. -Those three options can really bring your wheel to life!

I had a Driving Force GT for a while but got rid of it because I couldn't justify the cost and feel ok with it. I use a controller now. If I had the money though, I'd get a wheel again.

Also, I had a problem keeping the wheel steady/in a fixed position so it wouldn't move. This figured into the costs as well, because I feel like you really need a specialized stand or seat to go with the wheel.

I use the dfgt. First proper wheel ive owned. I know it has its flaws but its has some stuff over its expensive rivals. Namely, it has pretty much all the buttons from a regular controller right there in front of you and instant access to the RA menu. The pedals are pretty rubbish, but there are some really good and effective mods to make them feel better.

You can get the instant RA menu on G27. Also has most buttons on a ds3 all infact, apart from the ps button

I mainly use my DFGT, but when I'm tuning Drag cars, I use my DS3 so the car doesn't wobble, like if I let go of the wheel.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as the DFGT is the first wheel I have owned and I love how it basically has a DS3 right on the wheel with all the buttons. The FFB is also superb. Pedals could be improved, but still a massive improvement over the DS3. Definitely the best money I've spent on a game accessory.

I would love to give the G27 a go but the finances don't justify it right now. Also, a better stand would be nice. We have an old Honda Civic that no longer runs that we're going to be getting rid of soon, so I'm considering ripping the passenger seat out of it and building a semi-permanent stand for the wheel to go with it. Would make an OK setup in my opinion.
