I hope you are not using cockpit view, it is not very practical to race with in that car.

I forgot about that, maybe a rethink is in order. Possibly a BTR or YellowBird or the Interceptor MkIII, just because it has one of the greatest car names ever.

Yes, sorry I forgot about that part.

To clarify;
As of Round #8, two seperate cars must be used by each driver over the two weeks of each round. There is now no restriction on modification or age of vehicle used.

Any consideration for allowing the same car 2 weeks in a row if it didn't win in the first week? (Not sure if someone would want to keep the car if it isn't a winner, but a thought).

I want people to use two seperate cars, to avoid a situation where we have the same grid two weeks in a row. It is purely to promote the diversity we have come to expect from everyones car choices.

Plus with the tuning now unrestricted, we should see an even greater diversity in car selection. Also making it easier to find a car that fits the pace.

Also a bit of a loud beast. On the plus side, shoots flames out of the side pipes!

If it's ok with you guys, I'll post a lap time later tonight, a little after the deadline.

I am certain it is not a problem, I hope you can make it for tomorrow's race, last Monday was great racing.

I am really looking forward to the open tuning version of Parity Racing. Mainly I'm just looking to get a good transmission and some louder exhaust on cars so I can hear them better and through a few more gears. Should be even more fun! Good job Mike on continuing to update and improve things. I think once the fall rolls around things will pick up quite a bit.

Now this is akward...

I'll see if I have time tommorow to change cars. The car has only 216 hp in current form and even still I think it's possible to go below the target time, so regardless of JP's car choice, I'd like to change it if I find time to.

Haha...don't change on my account. Car handles beautifully around Suzuka with just that touch of oversteer on command. Can catch you on the first lap though...

Thanks to the huge amount of olympic action I have been watching, I haven't set a time and I'm also tired. I will be at Laguna Seca for Round #8 for sure, I can't wait to see the outcome with the new regulations.

For sure I will be trying to pick the most unique/odd/brash car as usual.👍;)

Just couldn't get myself to get a car ready for Suzuka (just don't care for that track). Hope the racing was good tonight though. I did start prepping a car for next week though (I am very fond of Laguna). Gonna be rowing gears with some of the rest of you. I do like the tuning piece in the sense of being able to use aero kits and sport suspension for better stance and appeal. Planning on using the Honda Integra for next week. Ran a second too fast at 387pp, so figuring I will be in the 370s when all said and done. Just ran out of time tonight to keep cutting. Two weeks off for me, really itching to get back on the track with you guys.

some picture from last night, let's call it Miata night as he has been the fastest and the more consistent even the mighty power of the Vette could not do anything about it for a full race.

2 Americans VS 2 Italians

Beautifull cars.

Wow...tomorrow night should be a blast. Had a little practice with Miata and an intruder of Mr. Owens. Some great close, EXCITING racing.

Johnny, something is off with your entry...the time is too fast. Nice car selection though, that was my first choice until I tested the Integra. It might come out next week though.

So who is on for Laguna tonight, I will try to be in the lounge earlier for last minute practice, I have been unfaithfull to GT5 with an other game for the last few days.:guilty:

Trying to connect to the lounge but not able

Getting error 268

Closed everything, restarted PS3 & GT5, now every thing works

I could not have had more fun racing with you guys tonight (has nothing to do with being up front a couple of times). This track and this group is just a perfect match. Lots of clean and brave passing. I seem to enjoy this racing more and more each week (and I started out really liking it). Great to be able to run nose to tail with guys and not get knocked out of the way or even have a guy closing up on you like cote up the hill and not take a cheap shot. I have raced in some VERY competitive leagues (lucky to finish in the middle of the pack), but I must say with this format, the competition is just fierce. Thanks again for a great evening.

An other great Monday evening of online racing. Looking forward to an other one next Monday at Laguna again. What a fantastic track for racing. Thank you every one for being there.

Crap, sorry I missed it again. Work interfering again!! I am hoping things calm down a bit in the near future so i can race with you guys, I'm really missing it!!
