Regulations

Car: Absolutely anything
Aids: Only ABS allowed
Tuning: Unrestricted
Grip: Real
Tyre Wear: On

Times should be set online.

All times have to be between the two target times posted. The leader will not be the person who has posted the fastest lap, but the person who has reached the target time with the lowest pp (regardless of what car). There will be seperate leaderboards for the Week 1 and Week 2, but the track and target time will be the same. Targets for the next round will be set on the Monday after the round ends. Each round will last 2 weeks.

Races will take place every Monday @ 19:00 CDT / 20:00 EDT / 00:00 GMT / 01:00 BST(Tue) / 02:00 CEST(Tue). If enough interest is expressed (5+ people) extra races can be organised at an earlier Euro friendly time.

People can submit as many entries as they like with only their best effort counting on the leaderboard.

Lap times should be submitted like so;

mike 5927 / Mike_5927 / Ford RS200 '84 / 420pp / 1:23.456 / BST

This is great you can count me in both for leader board and Monday racing.
The replay will also be good to verify that lap time have been achieved respecting the track layout, like always having 2 wheels on the track, respecting chicanes, etc.....

Sounds like fun:tup:

I have rarely used practice mode but I do recall that you can't save a ghost replay unless you improve your time. So in this example if you run a 1:52 and then lower the PP and nail it so you run a 1:52.75 and want to use that as your Q time and PP level, it won't save the replay if you haven't cleared the results because you didn't improve your time. So any time you want to continue and make adjustments, don't forget to delete your results to date. It's on the right hand side at the bottom of the menu.

What is the pp limit ?

There is no pp limit. You have to try and get under but within .500 seconds of the target time, the lower the pp of your car the higher up the leaderboard you will be. So the winner is the person able to hit the target time with the lowest pp.

Excellent point, thank you Johnny

Holy guacamole - That's an impressive (and believable) time for that PP. 417? Ouch - I'm not close to that - but it's not a surprise to me, either. ;-)

Bigger I read te target as 1:56.... Did a 1:55.7 @ 391pp!

Back to the power limiter for this idiot.

Nice effort, but they have to be under the target time to count.

So close on the Scirocco though.

Ford Focus RS 02' 427PP 205hp 1:53.038

Thats too fast, it has to be within .500 seconds of the target time. So the fastest eligible time would be 1:53.500.

At least that means you can shave a few more pp off that entry.

I have some new entries.

Can't believe you're haggling over 0.005s! However, dems de rules. Apologies for the Ferrari entry, I didn't look closely enough.

So Scirocco, 398PP, 1:53.805
Ferarri, 401PP, 1:53.897 (let the tyres warm up this time).

Edit: Surely if the target is 1:54, it should also be whoever is closest to that time? And if it's being allowed to be faster by 0.5s then surely it should go the other way too? If not, then really the target is 1:53.5?

Zorrin the goal is to be between 1:54.000 & 1:53.500 with the minimum of pp possible. In case of same pp the driver getting the closest to 1:53.500 has the best result. I hope this make it clearer on what we are trying to achieve.
Congratulation on your runs, and it is only the beginning, I am looking forward to race you in your Sirocco with my Toyota on Monday.

The reason the rules state you have to be under the target time, not just within .5 second, is so that everyone is as close as possible in terms of speed. If the target area was 1 second (as opposed to .5 second) when we came to have the Monday race we could still have a significant performance gap, especially during the longer of the two races.

Nice improvement, 12pp.👍

Thanks, have you tried you car online yet? I did and it is interesting, looking forward to discuss it with the mic when we meet in the lounge.
