TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

I did some practice laps and I was getting around 1:19.5 I think the car is about 70% broken in. I think there is plenty room for improvement since every couple laps I would significantly improve on my previous time, so some of the corners I can probably gain lots of time on.

I tried to use B-Spec to break mine in and couldn't. How are you breaking your car in?
 
^I few weeks ago I was doing the F1 races in the seasonal events. The races are pretty long, so it is a good way to break it in, and also get the hang of how the vehicle handles.
 
Some races you can't use formula 1 cars, I think is the problem with trying to break in using normal methods. I might be wrong though.

Race Recap

Just look at the results and you will know how competitive and exciting the racing was. In Division 1 micantony edged out Psycho-Tuber by .059 to take 1st place in Race 1. In the same race 2nd place through 5th place were only separated by .800. In Race 2 Division 2 Ridgeline held off mbobb1969 and took 4th place by only .126. Also in Division 2 there was a three way tie in points between mbobb1969, spyagent1439, and NashNGW with mbobb1969 taking 3rd, spyagent1439 taking 4th, and NashNGW taking 5th in the tie breaker. There would have been a tie breaker in Division 2 at 60 points, but Johnny_Suede got the Pole and the 2 points that go along with it and took 6th place over zxxCOUNT210xxz.

Congratulations to both micantony and iceandspice for their two 1st place finishes and to RacingOtaku86 on his overall win in Division 2. Infinital-NG seems to still be getting used to his wheel. RockRoadKid scoped out another nice viewing area in Race 1 and decided to use it half way through Race 2. Spazmaticality had some great battles with micantony with a couple of mistakes taking him out of contention. FFK13 gave Psycho-Tuber all he could handle in Race 2 just fading late after many hard fought laps and position changes. DREX81 tried the no pit stop strategy again this week without much luck. He led a lot of laps but faded fast toward the end and actually decided to pit after lap 20 in Race 2. TX_Executioner was "1 and done".

We would like to welcome back micantony, spyagent1439, and Kendawg198 after short breaks. We would also like to welcome RacingOtaku86, NashNGWWatch, and dlmnf4 to the league! Be sure to watch your replays to see all the intense battles that went on in both races and in both lounges. Absolutely fantastic racing guys!

We have recently changed the criteria for promotion and relegation.

"Drivers finishing in 1st place overall for two consecutive weeks will be promoted and drivers finishing in last place overall for two consecutive weeks will be relegated."

So, you will still be in Division 2.

Good rule! That way Psycho will never again get "disconnected" all the way back to Division 3!! :lol:
 
So for Monaco, Tyres are Open, but for Tokyo, do we have to run Softs?

That is correct on the tires...

There is an official practice on Wednesday at 20:00 EST in the Turtle Town lounge, though you are welcome to announce and host a practice there any day no other event is scheduled. There is a schedule on page 1, post 5.
 
Now, I don't know if I need to win the overall event twice consecutively to advance to a higher division, but the problem is I don't have a Ferrari F2K7 to race in. You guys might say to me, "Well, just race and buy it," but I'm not so sure if I want to race this event or not.

You will be getting a Level 24 ticket for winning last weekend. If you have a backup of your save, keep loading the ticket until you get the F2007.... I think the odds are 1 in 4 or so.
