I have tried to go through a wall on the challenge Nurburgring GP/F, can not do it?

Also if I cheat on this challenge and get medals on all challenges, does this mean I can't get the Vettel trophy?

They fixed most "wall" cheats...only way to cheat is to ask a friend to come over and do it for you 👍

If you want to cheat at it you can always delete ALL your updates and do it offline, and yes you will still get your trophy 👍 you can also cheat several of the endurance race while your at it if you haven't beat them already :D

Delete the patch (Game data) and go back onto gt5 but DONT update it then do the Vettel Challenge Wall glitch, get your trophy and then simply update the game again, nobody will know if you have glitched or cheated to get it so you will be A-Ok

You can also have a friend do it for you, but you need to send your savefile and PSN inlog credentials. I drove it for someone on the forum. (the legit way)
Which challenge(s) do you need?

Near the end of last year I never thought it was possible. It just takes alot of time and effort...in turn it does teach you things, at least for me it has.

Not worth the trophy if you have to cheat for it, but anything in the game is possible via the legit way. Up to you which path you want to take.

Does this still work, regardless of game save size, DLC, ect?

That's a good question that I cannot answer, last time I deleted my data was to try and borrow glitch an academy car and it did not work, but I believe that was because I was the academy car which came in a later update.. but I know people ask to borrow glitch my redbulls still to this day so I'm guessing as long as you are in an original GT5 car it should be ok but I would not attempt it without backing your data up atleast

Ok back to my original question what's the best update to cheat in this VETTEL CHALLENGE

^ most likely the very first version of the game (no updates) since they did not add any updates that CAUSED these glitches to happen.

As we both stated if you would have read these, delete all your data and revert to the ORIGINAL version of the game (no updates)

So does that mean if I do this and completed the endurance and vettel challenges I need to update again? Which takes about an hour and a half which is totally along time

I asked because I can't go through the wall, I heard someone say they updated to a higher update and just wanted confirmation from some other members.

Thanks pals!

Correct

I had always thought that 1.11 or 1.10 was the one that it worked on, I hadn't heard of it on the very first version, then again, I don't know why it wouldn't work on the first first. I've never done in, but I have seen videos on youtube and I think it's 1.11 that they mostly did it on, maybe 1.10, really though I'm not sure.

Well in that case. I'll never delete my updates. I'll just tackle these endurance and special events head on.
You do not have to re-download anything. If you have an external USB drive, you can do a back up of the game data, then restore the game data when you're finished.

I cant remember... 10 or 12 maybe? I'd have to turn my PS3 on to be sure, but the controller is on the couch and that's like... 8 feet away. Screw that.

Lol. If I save my game data it's way too much I only have a 8gb usb stick and that's it. I do have a External 500gb Hard drive but it's my dads and I don' want to ruin it because it has stored memory in it already.

I'm pretty sure it compresses things when you do a backup though. When I did a backup to swap HDD's in my PS3, I remember the data on the USB drive was significantly smaller than what it took up on the PS3's hard drive.

Since when can we back up our game data? :boggled: We've never been able to do that, only the save file.

To reinstall the updates, you have to re-download them all.

^This^ A 8gb stick is more than enough.

He's talking about a system backup not single backup. Single directories like save files aren't compressed! It only gets compressed as a sys backup image.

Oh okay. Ima search it on Google and I'll see how to do it and what more I can find
