I guess we'll have to wait until TGS. Makes more sense for a Japanese company anyway. They still have October, November and December to promote the game, that's enough.
 
Those are the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Pods, If you search more about them even on Jordans Blog theres more pictures of that, On the main Gran Turismo Floor those cant be seen so that must have been floating in a corner somewhere by show enterance. or something.

Calm down. Look at the other images above of the actual show floor for Gran Turismo. As I said they are most likely units for anyone else to have ago on showwhere else around the GC.
 
Note how the pods with GT5P in them don't look the same as the seats with the GT branding but no other information.

Or "They're two different things".

If GT5 is playable at Gamescom then it wouldn't make a lot of sense to have GT5p there aswell - it might just be an " old GT5p " chair though. But as I stated above - for me it makes perfectly sense that PD is offering a playable demo at their TGS. I mean what else would be left for TGS ? PSP GO, PS3 slim for 299 EUR, GT mobile - that's enough for Gamescom. Playable GT5 without announcing it at their 3 hour press conference ? I don't think so.

It does make sense. GT5 will not be out for (many?) months, so Prologue is still the game to buy. So why not still give people unfamiliar with Prologue a chance to play it.

GT5 video is capturing right now. Should be up in about 45 minutes.
Then Fifa. Then NFS: Shift.

No reason as to why there can't be both games....

Plus you would think if it was prologue that there would actually BE prologue written on the main floor booth....which it isn't!

We shall know in about 35 minutes
 
How exactly are the showing GT5?

Nobody's even sure of this. Is there a press conference?
And indeed, will there be a live stream or live blog?
Where?

It's really hard to believe we have to put so much effort in getting some information about a simple game... We're in 2009...
