My (stealth) R10 only ever had 5 gears from the release day? Kept getting blown away on the straights and coming out of the corners by the 908, too.

Weird my stealth R10 had 6 gears. Haven't checked after update.

Righto, I gotcha now. IMO it's a POS anyway, I own it and have driven it once.

Man, you crazy! I love the R10. It may not stonk as much as an R8, but it is the only open cockpit premium, which makes it a hoot for ripping around La Sarthe at night. Go easy on the throttle and it does all the work. Plus, with that mountain of torque, understeer is never a problem that can't be resolved with just a dab more throttle.

R10 FTW.

Love this car! Why all the hate on it? :D

Cockpit view + Nordschleife + Night = uber-freude!

All these little fixes just shows how much PD is on GTP and listens to every litlle bug. Shows how invaluble the new "Feedback" section is.

That's because the 908 is a faster car, it just has a tendency to break. That's the whole reason Audi was successful in endurance races against Peugeot.

Hmm maybe, as you can remember everybody voted for in game endurance saves, but there aren't yet. Of course Jordan an gtplanet pushed them to fix the savedata bug.

What about the back fire? Is it still there? The R10 and all other diesel engine don't have backfire except if their engine breaks or it's in GT5.

R10 for fun racing, strategy and realism. Sure other cars are just as nice and very fun to drive. Most of the same caliber are more responsive and easier to tune. However, I like the touch of stress filled edge the Audi gives during a long race against cars faster on a straight.

The old Jag Race Car & Ferrari Race Car are open cockpit :)

I wasn't aware of this problem with R10 but glad to hear it is fixed. The Citroën Xantia still miss the 5th gear though.

Before the R10 was fixed I geared final to 298. It hit 236 on Sarthe without limiting out in 5th. Sure acceleration was affected a little but I was running 5 gears.

I checked when someone mentioned on the update thread. Yes, mine has dropped from 6 to 5.

Also, Jordan has updated the Feedback section .ie. the completed items list. So if any of you voted for the stuff that got fixed, you just got your votes back :)
