An M3 Ute at that. I want it.

I haven't wanted a Ute so much since Stuart Appleby finished his M5!

Several comments on Autoblog suggest this is an M3 Convertible in disguise.

It's a one off for ZTechnik or some other BMW motorcycle place. This comes from Jim Hall via Jalopnik.

The Chaparral guy?

It does look good some how.. But there is no market for such thing..

The Chapparell guy?

I would guess his a product manager at BMW since Jalopnik calls him the "product planner-to-the-car-stars".

We're getting trolled by BMW here... Even the co-pilot is laughing at us.

But I want to believe!

Didn't even notice that until now

But, yeah, a BMW convertible in disguise would make sense.

Didn't they make one of these once? I swear I had a model of one when I was a kid.

Damn, you beat me to it Matsi.

I do recall seeing one on the interweb or in a Magazine, that was white, and apparentley built by BMW officially.. but only a one-off.

Wow, I really like it. Too bad it's a mule for a vert most likely.

The shots of the rear end reveal what looks like a trunk lid to me. It's not redesigned at all. One would assume a ute would have a rear hatch that folds down.

Very Nice!

With almost no weight at the back, this would be even more prone to go sideways as soon as you mash the right pedal. Cool stuff. 👍

They did it basically as an exercise but the funny thing is, it could actually sell... I'd buy one.

This kinda reminds me on the V8 B - Class Project from them AMG Boys.
Just a fun Project, which will never go into production.

In this case, I'm even more disappointed, like this concept a lot!
Especially for them boys down under this would be competitor to the Holden Maloo!
