PD Cmon!!!! release dlc with content for reasonable price!

I am pretty "unhappy" now that i´ve seen the latest EA offers as DLC vs gt5´s:

Now that´s an 10usd update! If you start comparing the number of cars in the game (1000 vs 150) and u add 7, 10, 14 cars for 10 bucks with more than 1 track at a time, plus events,that´s up to 10% extra content!! now u got a dlc.

Now that i´m complaining, let´s get everything out of the way, it´s mostly doable things....

Track menus simpler. You choose the track, choose the layout and off u go!

Being able to switch cars in practice without exiting the menu. Sometimes u´re choosing the car for a race and i hate going back to the garage and back to the same track.

Last but not least I am pissed that i pre-bought the collectors edition, gave PD my money in a stage most companies really need money, paid over 40usd over the regular edition and didn´t/don´t get DLC´s for "free". After seeing that XL version comes with all the dlc´s makes me that much more pissed and wondering if there´s no love for earlieast and collectors of the game! at least send us all the stealth cars and some future dlc´s.

We just got 6 cars for $6. EA, on the other hand, is offering seven cars for $7. How is that anymore reasonably priced than GT5's DLC? And nevermind that we already have some of those cars in the game. As for your second list...you should really look at GT5's first car pack.

not comparing car per car, i´m comparing percentage of cars added to cars in game and specially complaining about buying collectors ed and not getting dlc. i got their back, they should get mine too... Not to mention incomplete cars. if u are charging for a car do it race moddable too. how much harder is it?

You agreed to pay for what was in the Collectors edition, plus you got chromelines and probably a stealth car. They don't owe you any DLC.

And also GT5 has 1000 cars and Forza has 500. You're trying to say that GT should charge less than Forza for the same amount of DLC, just because the game has more cars. I don't understand your reasoning.

Comparing GT5 first pack of made up cars with that second list from Shift is a joke, gimme them from Shift any day, just the sort of cars I want!
 
no, that´s what got me pissed and made me write, what i would prefer to see is more organized track list and to be able to switch cars in practice menu´s.
wich is not hard to do at all.

Sorry, are you saying that because you brought the CE, that entities you to have free DLC down the line?

You brought the CE for the contents that was in the package, if for any reason you thought that it wasn't worth it, you shouldn't have made the purchase.

As PD hadn't decided they were going to do DLC when the game was released, to presume that you should be entitled to a freebie if it did emerge, wasn't exactly the best logic.
 
GT5 DLC'S is quite expensive , but they are great even the made up cars and the cost of the dlc depends on the game when pd wants to put a car in gt they take about 2 weeks or something , i'm talking about the quality of cars and how they look real or plastic or looney tunes seriously , by the way i think forza producers make a new game WITH dlcs i think this is one of reasons its cheap and they have a good cars , they dont to put all the cars they can put oh no buy the game after two weeks heres the dlc .

if i'm mistaken would kindly correct me .
 
doesn´t entitle, but it´s a practice in many other businesses lines. for instance, it´s cheaper to buy an apartment/house before it´s build because the company needs the money for building and the discount means they know the value of cash in hands.

What we want is subjective. Notice I never said "I don't want those cars" or anything like that. I was talking purely from a cost-per-car perspective.
 
i maybe started it wrong cause i was reading the dlc news as i was writing this, but wouldn´t u guys want a more organized track system, where u choose the track, then the layout for instance? instead of the weird way it´s now?

I'm with you on this. The only reason the tracks are listed the way they are now is to make it seem that there's a lot of tracks in GT5.

No, thats a discount. Once you take possession of a house, do the construction firm turn back up a year later and say "We are just going to add this conservatory, free of charge"?

I agree the menus may need some work, but over all GT5 does very well. And I don't have a problem with the DLC either.

Also, please don't use txt speak such as words like "u" because it makes it harder for people who's native language is something other than english to understand. Plus, its in the AUP which you agreed to when you signed up.

When was new DLC announced anyways and OP you might want to read the AUP to not further violate it.

the last dlc was really expensive but i think it has to do with what i said earlier .

People have asked for such things, many times, go to wishlist threads and have fun. :)

Also there's no 4 USD per track thing. The first pack was 5 USD and had two tracks. The second with SSRX also included the Speed Test feature, which means you could say the track only cost 2 USD and the 2 is for the new feature,

You do know that there are nearly 8 million people that purchased GT5. Alot of which have different things they would want in the game.

So until we have every track that has appeared in a GT game, every car thats ever been built and every real world track in the game, there are always going to be people that are disappointed
 
i started the thread wrongly(both aup and the written content).... it sounded like a crying thread (wich kinda was) but the main thing are the track menu´s and the ability to switch cars in single player events.
