BTW one of the earliest threads of dlc wishlist was a guy saying AVENTADOR - no more. he got what he wanted... i just want us all to get for instance an every-missing-track-from-other-gt5´s for 5-7 usd , not 4 usd per track....

Wait a minute... so you saw the other wishlist thread yet started a new one anyway? Sounds like someone needs a basement GTKitty!

You do know that there are nearly 8 million people that purchased GT5. Alot of which have different things they would want in the game.

So until we have every track that has appeared in a GT game, every car thats ever been built and every real world track in the game, there are always going to be people that are disappointed

And they're all gonna post here about it too, although it'll likely be spread amongst 9,000,000 identical threads.

:)

What are we up to now?. It must be close to 2.5 million by this point. So at least we are over a quarter of the way there

i´m wishing for some sense, not specific content..... i don´t want a lancia(already have it along with every other, minus escudo pikes peak) i want a fair pack. 10 cars 2, 3, 5 tracks. and some organization in the track menus and option to switch cars inside the menu´s
the way it´s going it´ll be an 400usd game by the time gt6 releases.

The price of DLC is driven by US, the consumers. If the majority of us think that the price is fair for what we are receiving, we buy it. If we think the price is exorbitant, we don't by it.

If enough people purchase the DLC, you can expect to see more DLC.

If enough people don't purchase the DLC, one of two things will happen - the price will drop or they'll simply stop producing DLC. For each track or car that is released, someone had to program it. That someone doesn't work for free (I certainly won't) so that means their bosses need to generate revenue to pay them... in this case by selling the DLC.

Re-read the vicious cycle from the top again.

So basically if PD doesn't release the cars YOU want they lack sense? Way to be so self-centered:rolleyes:.

Have you thought about legality for licensing of cars maybe P.D. can not get every car in the world K.Y. is doing what he can do to keep interest in GT5 so please do not complain when content is available, and also P.D. takes over a few months to program and build a car.

i´m not asking for any cars in particular, just would like to see sense. For example: hot hatch pack, 10 of the hottest hatches available and 3 tracks that would suit those cars. or another EXAMPLE, super sedans and some wide cambered tracks.

Haven't you heard? Every copy of GT5 is tailor made to fit that customer's needs. Gran Turismo 5, the Rolls-Royce of video games.

PS: We need a 'sarcasm' smiley.

So basically you want a theme pack where the cars and the tracks all are related to each other. Shouldn't you then try and post this in feedback? 💡

So you don't want specific cars, you just want ten of them. PD actually has to produce these cars, they don't get delivered to PD's office by Santa. If you really want to wish, you're better off wishing for specific cars.

Do people who write like this actually expect PDI to listen?

People that write this generally don't read. Otherwise, an old DLC thread would have been restored to it's right an proper place.

i really think this is a channel pd "listens", specially around updates time. Many updates came from user imputs and many have yet to come. I think a more organized track list and ability to choose cars from practice menu´s will be a great change for most (since if i´m not mistaken practice doesn´t refresh the ucd)

Speaking of Rolls-Royce. Can I have a Phantom, a Silver Shadow, a Silver Dawn and a chauffeur's outfit for Bob to wear as he ferries me between Edinburgh and London in the game please?

Go to the feedback tab, follow the AUP (possibly also read it) then voice your opinion. PD may "listen" to that but voice your opinion as a suggestion not as a complaint (like you did here).

Yes, and no.

We've got a Feedback section specifically for PD to "listen" to. They've also done their own homework when the game was released, and occassionally listen to messages posted on your Message Board in the game.

Would they check out this thread just to hear complaints about pricing? Not likely, seeing as how the first 3 did so well that we're getting more.

And your complaint was addressed well before ANY DLC was released. It was even put in the proper place.

How many times did EA update NFS S2U post-release to fix bugs or improve game?

Two times, EA then stated that there would be no subsequent updates available for the game.

EA never released the 3rd DLC of Super cars that were found in the PC version's code.

Go to NoGripRacing.com and check it out.

I'll take PD's approach to DLCs and periodic updates any day.

blitz and mclaren, up until now i never even looked at that upper bar, thanks for pointing it out, i will post this in the proper place.
Jogo i also agree that EA lays on the fact they have porsche and this by itself will make the ammount of money they wanna out of the title so they don´t sweat much. But they get some great tracks and it´s unarguable. Some very small sim titles have more tracks than gt5 or maybe some more significant in motorsport history.
i bough spa in the first minute i possibly could but felt a little ripped off by an incomplete test section with no skidpad, no standing mile, and basically no creativity or fun whatsoever.

I think the price of the DLC packs is OK... $1 = 1 car...

However, I'd like to have the chance to buy each one individually...👍

Yes, you should like they did in games like NHL10 (sorry if you haven't played it). Basically you see something you want in the dealership and you just buy it right there through the Playstation store for $1.

PD pricing is fine....it's their selection of cars that sucks...they should just ask fans to suggest and then vote on the cars we want included in future DLC's...PD's staff has zero taste.

And I find it a bit unethical that they are allowing their relationships with some manufacturers (like Mini) to dictate the content of DLC's they are charging us for.

Considering how many great cars are still missing from GT5, why in the world has PD already included two Minis in the three DLCs released so far? If they have some sort contractual agreement with the company to market their cars, I don't think we should be charged for that.

Thats actually a great idea. List off x number of cars on their website and have people vote.

This 👍

They need to explore some more options... I mean, they have tons of licensed brands... RUF, Ferrari... maybe another Lambo... 👍 ... Pontiac...

Shift 2 has that system... 👍 one of the very few things that game got right... :nervous:

shift 2 has 1 of the features i like most in racing games. you get to tune the car at the track and not blind like in gt5 . To top it off it has a full suspension and tires telemetry and makes it very easy to see if a car is bottoming out or has/hasn´t enough tire pressure to get most grip.

SURE it sucks almost everywhere else but after a lot of tinkering with menus and settings it can be a satisfying game to play at the wheel. Just don´t get any AI in the track and stay in the racing line and you can enjoy some awesome newer cars and world class tracks like donington, dubai, silverstone, mt panorama.
Also i don´t know how many of you guys use wheels but i hate gt5´s rumble strips in my g27( and specially in this game) even a ds3 controller has a nicer, more real feeling with the vibration.
