Welcome to the GTPlanet GT World Series for Gran Turismo 5. This is a one-class racing series that features sports cars from manufactures such as Audi, Ferrari and McLaren, who will compete in a number of races around many of the world tracks available in GT5. This series drew inspiration from watching the FIA GT1 World Championship, since the initial car line-up is very similar, but since certain elements (the absence of a Qualifying Race) will not be included, and there will be certain ideas tested to attempt to pique interest that aren’t in the GT1 series, I have decided to give the series a different name. Thus, it is called the GT World Series.
Qualifying: Monday @ 11pm UTC {Duration of 45 Minutes}
Race Day: Thursday @ 11pm UTC {Duration of 1 Hour}

Testing Procedures:
Testing is pretty simple; cars are given specs to run, and are tested to see how they perform. Their specs may be altered based on how the other are performing in comparsion. Pay attention to the next few paragraphs.
There are always debates on whether tuning is part of why certain drivers get more out of a car than others, I will be restricting the tuning
For testing, I ask that all participants install all racing spec clutch, flywheel, suspension, transmission, and differential parts (this includes LSD, and torque diff for AWD cars) before they begin testing a car in the list. Do NOT install rigidity improvement; once its on the car you cannot take it off, and yes, it DOES affect performance. Also, I would also like to ask that the cars have an aerodynamic wing installed, and any other GT Auto parts they wish to use for aesthetics.
If a car needs to add performance parts to meet the required spec, they can do so, otherwise all cars must run with their power limited, and no other performance parts installed. Weight reduction is fine, as long as you do not change the ballast position of the weight you have to add to reach the required specification. Oil changing is fine.
Aside from the transmission, which will be given a 180 mph cap during testing, all other tuneable parts should be kept stock for testing purposes. That means please, please, please, don't make any adjustments to the parts you put on. You'll have a chance to do that after testing is over and pre-season starts.
