err... uh... how did you get the bottle to inflate like that? And what was in it that was creating the flame?
 
I dunno...but if you put enough fuel in a soda bottle for it to vaporize, and light a small opening on the end, it'll fly across the room if you get the ratios right.
 
It wasn't a bottle .. it was a condom. And it wasn't fuel, it was air freshener.

The showers definately smelled fresh for a while.
 
ok... how did you keep it from exploding and uh... how do you get that much air freshner into a condom?
 
We tied the open end and put a hole in the tip. Then we took the nozzle thingy off the Oust bottle and put the tip in the hole and filled it up. When you take it off you just hold the tip closed until you get ready to light it. The pressure from the condom being expanded kept the Oust stream going out at a high enough rate that the flame didn't get inside (atleast my guess, as I'm not totally sure).
 
Actually, the Oust propellant needs oxygen to burn, so the flame won't travel up into the container as long as there is no oxygen in there.

You can actually light carb cleaner/engine starter spray right at the nozzle of the spray can (not that I recommend it....) for a nice flamethrower with about a 5' flame (the carb cleaner doesnt burn as well, you get a 3' fireball about 4 feet out.

Yep but they wouldn't go off though, because there aren't any in the showers (strategically picked location).

Flamethrowers are fun :). Off bug spray makes a good one, so does WD-40.
 
It takes a LOT of smoke to set off a fire alarm. I used to smoke in my dorm room, and you could fill the whole room with a haze of smoke and it wouldn't go off.
 
Thats funny .. because burnt popcorn normally sets off the majority of out fire alarms here. I wish people would learn how to freakin use microwave man. Mini bags don't take the same amount of time to pop as the normal bags, sheesh.
 
Hey can someone give me EXACT instructions on how to do this? A what materials I will need? Me and a few friends did something similiar to this last night :lol: So we wanna try this now!

So you would need a condom, Oust, and a lighter. But with a little creativity you can think of a bunch more ways to do this.

Such as--use Axe (or generic spray-on deoderant) and a baloon. Fill the baloon, tie it off, and poke a pinhole. Light it. Stand back.

:lol: wait which would be better to use a condom or a ballon? or is there no difference? I know what AXE is :lol: Ok so get a ballon or condom fill it up with the AXE or OUST and then tie the ballon and poke a hole and light it up? Thats it?
 
err... don't use a baloon. They don't like heat very much and will explode pretty easily. In addition to that, the baloons blast air out pretty damn quickly through the blowhole. You'd have a flame thrower flying around all over the room if you tried that method...

1) I said to tie it off and poke a hole.
2) Dude, we're not talking TNT here. If in fact the baloon does pop, worst you're gonna get is a little fireball. Do it outside and you'll be fine.

Ok but I guess I will just stick to a condom since it might last longer and is safer. :lol:

It would have been funy if you'd burned your dorm down, but as it stands it's not very amusing at all. Show us some bodies consumed by flames, college students who died in their sleep from smoke inhalation! Why can't you guys just get some porn and beer and have a good time like everyone else?

eddieturner - The best thing to do when you sit around a fire is to have a bunch of cherry bombs on your lap, then toss a stone into the fire when no one is paying any attention and watch them all run. Or really throw a cherry bomb in there, and then you run. :lol:

Or throw propane gas bottles onto a raging bonfire, then run like ****. You can hear a faint buzz or chirp before the bottles actually explode, just like deodrant cans do.

The things you do when bored, stupid really!
 
how about taking a C size model rocket engine and setting it off with no restraints or a rocket? Great fun that was... it nearly hit my brother's car though...

Another time we strapped a bottle rocket to the top of a toy car :D

another fun thing is mixing gasoline and styrofoam (the foam melts and the whole thing becomes a nice gel-like paste thing) then coating a tennis ball with that mixture. Light it up, get a few sticks and just nudge it around. Lots of fun :)
