How could this league be improved?

I sell cars that I never use because there is no point in them just sitting there I've been around 200 cars for awhile now haha and 9 mill I'm saving up for the miura or a 20 million $ car.

This was one of the points I was making ER. (And welcome back by the way). All of that money I spend, going from $5M to $2M for races I didn't even run. The server kept kiking me last night, so I just gave up, I was so pissed. I had to be a Copen, Autozam, Beat, and $2M FXX, which I didn't get to race and not sure that I'll use except if required.

By comparison, sub-z's races, feature cars that I already have a ton of. I even have to R8 LMS's that I have to decide between. Not only do I have two weeks to tune and practice with them, I already own something out of every race category that is represented. That's what I am looking for, and I suspect those people that I have been trying to convince to come over here, will come straight to his league.

Now before you get insulted, I'm not saying that our league should be just like his, but I hit $200k a couple of weeks ago. That's bad. What if a race came up that required a $25M car? I would be fooked! Because I can't maintain that kind of balance in my account. Of all 6 versions of this game, this one is the hardest to make credits in. And it's worse when you have to buy 3-4 brand new cars every single week. I now have 2 Copens and 2 HKS CT-230s due to the requirements of the stock races. I will find something to do with the extra Camaro, but it's got to stop. Something has got to give. Now I don't see anything wrong with using the same car more than once. Want to make it different? Change the PP. Run GT3 cars at 580 PP at a certain weight limit. Then sometime in the future running them again. This time unrestricted at a different track. I thought my idea of LMPs at Daytona SS was a good one.

You keep making me buy and drive cars I don't care for and I'm going to make like a banana and split! OK, maybe not me cause I love youz guyz, but I am pointing out the primary reasoning for why we are so week. That's why @suspension and @themint split. They both have other stuff going on, but so do I. I stay because you guys are my racing family.

I'm also not trying to pile on, (unless you like that sort of thing :odd:), but I want to make that point while kz is feeling similar and while we have a chance to compare notes. I have a few ideas, and one of them is a little app that might be helpful. I have to get that to the Alpha stage before I tell you more.

Still sorting and reformatting your "Used Prior" spreadsheet, so I haven't forgotten it. Now two questions:

  1. How many weeks break before we start the next season?
  2. How which races did get run last night?

I can understand the frustration in buying new cars but if you wanted to race the same car over and over then there are plenty of other leagues out there. I just made this one to be different and try new things

I agree I think that 2 races where the car costs 2 million is an outrage. I don't mind 1 expensive car but 2 that's 2 much money I'm wasting for the server to kick me out or for something to come up and I can't make it. I normally don't care but b4 I was dropping into the 100,000$ mark and now It's hard to save up if I can only play 3 days out of 7. I'm not saying race **** cars I'm saying keep it under 4,000,000 dollars for buying 2 cars.
 
I think there should be a limit of 2.5 or 3 mil to buy the cars u need for the hole week unless every already owns a car that's more or can agree on it so ppl arnt penny pitching to get ready for the races
 
I have around 150 cars and 10 million. I have wasted around 16 million so far buying cars to enter races that I didn't get to finish. Very early in this league I have given up even showing up for them. Several times I bought and tuned cars for specific races and was told I wasn't allowed the car, although it was slower than everyone else's. So I felt that it is totally unnecessary to get excited about competing when there's no point.

I find it absolutely impossible to stay online during an entire event. If anyone in my building uses their microwave, I get kicked out of the lobby. Not off the net or off PSN, just out of the lobby. Most other times I only see 4 or 5 people out of 12 or 15 that are actually on track. I thought this would improve once they shut down the GT5 servers, but in fact it got much worse. I haven't had real fun racing in a long while. Since before Sierra came out.
 
Eyy before I forget, I have an idea. Since subs races end early, we could do some of those top gear challenges kz brought up or test some parity races?

No that's kind of the whole point. watch ar12gamings top gear challenges on forza when we get there I will say what we are doing if need be you can back out and buy a car for it.
 
Here's an example for 1 you can prepare for, best car for under 20,000 credits, for each challenge depending on which place you finish you get a certain amount of money to spend on upgrades.

Practicality, top speed, drifting unless front wheel drive, cost, looks, sound, 5 Lap race, best jump, 0-60, 0-60-0 or 0-100-0 depending on what car. Some will be stock some will allow tuning. Also a ridiculous points system that automatically screws JK.

sum will take 2 seconds like looks sound practicality and cost and I won't do all of them each event unless you guys want to. Also me cards and Barrett will pick different cars for this.
