How could this league be improved?

You back some good drivers JK. I have to give you that! BUT! (You saw that coming didn't you)? Love Kylie Busch! I think he could be a legend, but he spreads himself too thin. He will never have the energy to win a Championship when he's racing in all 3 series AND running his own truck team. You have to admit, he has grown up a little over the last 2 years. While a great driver, he has been a bit of a child over the course of his career and that has hurt him, and his fan base. When he spun (???) under caution, and ruined his Championship hopes in that truck race a few years ago, I was so mad that I almost wrote him off then. But I think he has humbled himself a bit. I think if he keeps going and concentrates on Cup, he could be next. Bet he's making some serious $$$$$ though.

Danica. Don't hate her cause she's a girl. Reserve your hate for a few more years and just give her a chance. At least as much of a chance as they've given Paulie Girl Menard, Greg Sniffle, Henny Hamlin, Joey sleepslike a Logano, and many of the others that have driven for years before winning a race or getting fired. That's all I ask. You don't have to love her, just give her the smae chance that you would give any dude coming in. I think kz pointed out Travis Pastrana. And that was a great example kz! (Standing ovation). They played him up to be a real threat and all he did was wreck cars and finish behind Danica and Johanna Long. What's he up to now anyway? Anybody know?

Why don't you like Kasey? I know it can't be because kz likes him. What's your real beef with him?

he spun horiday i think i know hes a good driver hes shown that lots of times but ur right needs to focus on the cup series instead of wat i think he dose and thats show off in the nationwide and truck series cuz he cant win in cup hes at that point of the best in nationwide and truck but not quite there in cup

i like manard sure he comes from a rich as hell family but he has had some good runs for the first 10 or 12 races of every season hes usually in a chase spot but the summer kills him but he has won a few nationwide races and the brickyard

i hate biffle simple as that he took both the 48 and the 88 out of the chase and i cant count how many times i watched the leader put him a lap down on wat should be a champion caliber team edwards was runner up and he would have won the title in 2011 if he had finished 1 spot better in any race of the chase and edwards won 2 races this year but the rest of his season was pretty bad

i dont have a problem with hamlin i find hes got a bit of a weird personality hes really quiet but he gets himself into alot of trouble

i like lagono for a few reasons he showed that BK isnt the only driver that can win with penske and i think he can win a championship

I like 6 time cuz when i was 5 or 6 years old my parents gave me a '64 impala dicast car the jimmie paint scheme on it i like the dinger cuz i like bobby labonte and he used to drive that car also i feel bad for him for the drug think he had cuz it was cough med i thought i herd some1 say also he won a champ car race in toronto and hes making due with wat he has and that had to be the feel good story of 2014 nothing again the 43 but that is a much bigger team then the 47 if u guys watched the TNT all access peace before the race at sanoma he had the best golf outfit ever. i like larson cuz well hes got huge confidence at such a young age to be able to put that car so close to the wall and u gotta love the larstash. i like jamie mac cuz hes got to be the nicest guy in the cup garage and he my not win often but when he win he wins big in one year he won the daytona 500 and the brickyard this year he won the all-star race last year he won at talladega and his first win was in his 2nd start at the coke 600 in crazy sterling marlins car
i like cole custer cuz he is to the day 1 year older then me and hes got a lot of skill hes won 2 k&n race and a truck race at new Hampshire and had to hold off crafton who is now a back to back Champ and i like Elliot cuz he won the truck series race at mosport which a lot of ppl seem to have for gotten and he is so good a such a young age

What about Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney? They both did pretty well last year. Do you see either of them moving up? And you were right. It was Ron Hornaday. I will be the first to admit Kyle was just downright stupid for doing that. He's lucky the Coach didn't let him go for almost messing up their M&Ms sponsorship. As much as I like him, I would have fired him anyway.

i was just putting that out there that old came up the track cards put his nose under his LR quarter panel then old came back down and spun himself if anything cards went down trying to avoid old but i dont think he could cuz he was already going full speed mostly its just so old cant play the blame game for why he sucks

That is a tough call. Sounds like it was more just a racing incident. If it didn't hurt cards too bad, I would prolly let it go. If old starts playing the blame game, we will just correct him and remind him that he has to mind his surroundings.

Wat are subs races blaney is pretty good another good thing is both races at mosport were awesome which will keep ppl interested in it and that will bring in $ for nascar which is all they care about these days that's y they're slowing the cars down next season to keep the racing closer so more ppl go to the races

It's always about the money though. And they've been messing around with power ever since MOPAR came in during the 60's and dominated the Ford's that were kick a** and taking names at the time. The Ford 429 Police Interceptor was nearly unbeatable at that time and the 429 Cammer was sick. If you could get one of those tuned, you could look for a payout at the end of the day. Until the Hemi and the 440cid came along. They were instantly powerful, durable, and they didn't overheat like the Fords did during the hotter part of the race season. It wasn't long before Ford and GM were screaming bloody murder and people were getting bored with Petty just like they are with J. Johnson now.

Know where I'm going with this? So NASCAR made a bunch of big changes to the engine rules to level the field. So what are they doing now, some 44 years or so later? Changing the chase in a major way, because of King Jimmie II. They can't lower his engine power, so they had to change the format of the chase to prevent him from winning yet another. It's all about the dollar. And I will admit that that has been to Danica's advantage. She brought with her, a sponsor and a fan base. Probably the second biggest nation behind Junior Nation.

When you are looking at the event list. Click the blue arrow to the right of the green Laps box. It takes you into the event area where you can sign up and mark it is a fav. At the top in blue, it says Regulations, with an arrow next to it. Click that and it takes you to the Event Settings page.

Here are a few caps from Assetto Corsa. The next time I have notes, I'm going to start a thread there and add it to my sig.

The quality is much better than this, but I'm playing it on my laptop and haven't made any adjustments or connected it to my external monitor. I can provide specs if you all have any questions. I am using a Thrustmaster Ferrari Challenge wheel to learn this one, but you can use a controller as well. I've even learned how to map my PS3 controller to my computer if I need to. So here are some shots.


This one is status. The car is the Abarth 500 EsseEsse It lets you make adjustments in the pits. Yes, even tire pressures.

Here are the Ferraris that are available currently. The DLCs are free as upgrades right now. The game is in it's 1.0 stages now, so everyone is kind of a Beta Tester as well as a player.

The cars are skinnable, so true customs will be possible. I just downloaded the SDK, so I don't yet have many details. I know you can export the cars as objects and put skins on them from downloads or ones, as you design them. But if you guys are interested, I can journal my trek in my AC thread if you like. I believe this is the future of our gaming sport, and I will be more than glad to be the lead research chimp. I plan on getting Project Cars when that comes out in March and with you guys help, can determine which one I want to stay with. This is the one @Aggravated Aardvark has, so we may even be able to start a testing league there once things get settled.

Let me know what you think. Interested in your opinion too JK if you can stoop to my level. :crazy:

That's not all I have ;) anyway, within the Sim Racing world, AC is definatly notvthe best option, the best option would be to obtain all of them ;) because they all are not perfect, raw physics, Game Stock Car Extreme and NetKarPro have them all beat, veriety is Rfactor's game, iRacing is the elephant in the room, being pricy, the developers try to make you use the same inputs you'd use in real life, but the tire model and the FF hold it back IMHO, then again, I'm decent at all of them, or at least I like to say I am, lol. Except iRacing, GT3 cars? no problem, iRacing miata? Spin out at turn 1, also, Assetto Corsa and iRacing have laser scanned tracks, and track quality on the more popular tracks is good, I would honestly say Mazda Raceway was so bad on GT6 I could'nt adjust to it, the corkscrew being all wrong, some kind of massive bump on the turn after that does'nt actually exist on the reql track
