Alright phish. I don't really think 10 laps will make a Hugh difference.

Maybe in a future special class race we could do a short track like Tsukuba. With a car that runs just under 1 minute laps. A 120 lap race would be awesome. So much could happen.

Wife wants to head up to Boston Saturday night... not 100% sure yet but I may be missing this one.

Which sucks because I really like the full length enduros and have been using the M4 in every race I can so I can be really dialed in. :(

i think it would be more fun if we turned off penalties for the longer races. the Ghosting of lapped cars takes half the fun out of it. (we'd have to be sure to use tracks without cheating areas though :irked: )

Tsukuba still applies, I'd say... maybe 1 corner I can think of where you can cut inside, but even then I don't think it's faster to do so.
 
Agreed. Tsukuba's a good track for penalties off. Nowhere to really cheat there and cut corners that would give a better lap times i can think of.

Sometimes you just have to trust people to do the right thing though 👍 I would say 95% of Turtle racers wouldn't take advantage (intentionally anyway), but that one guy can ruin a good thing. Just like in life :banghead::grumpy:

Turtle Racing League - Race Night Recap


Division 1: A couple of very challenging races were in store for the Turtles this week. Tire wear was a huge factor, as well as a very troublesome final turn that caught many a Turtle off guard (and a difficult first turn as well). Differing strategy came into play, as some tried to stretch it the distance (such as SilverFire41 in race 1) while others chose to pit multiple times (GTMX-HECTO1 in race 2). With his incredible ability to save tires and be quick at the end of both races (a theme we're already seeing developing with him), qrtintheshade took home two 2nd place finishes to take the overall top spot in the final results. Micantony qualified on pole and ran very strong both races whilst running with the leaders and had two 3rd place finishes to show for it, leading to a 2nd place overall in the standings. DolphDrago took home the checkered flag in race 1, but faltered a bit in race 2, finishing 6th, but good enough for bronze in the overall results. Congrats to gr8racrs on his 1st Enduro win! While he tied lightningdf22b1 in the standings, his fastest lap of all the racers led to him taking home 4th overall in the standings with lightningdf22b1 settling for 5th. GTMX-HECTO1 and SilverFire41 tied as well. GTMX-HECTO1 had the fastest lap of the two, and they finished 6th and 7th respectively. RacingOtaku86 had a rough night, but never stopped, leading to an 8th place in the standings with GTP_K1utch finishing behind in 9th. LeoStrop ran one race before calling it a night and rounded out the field with a 10th place finish in the final standings. Watch Out Division 1, The Fish Returns this Week in the Big Race, Here comes the Flyin' High Minnesotan! :sly:


Division 2 + Divison 3: Another Low turnout for both divisions causing them to merge and race together! Though the Wicked Awesome Fish hosted for them there was racing all over the track! In Race 1, Representing Division 2 CaptainKirrahe28 got the job done and got a sweep! Grabbing the Pole and 2 Wins! GTP_Severn tried to give Captain his everything in Race 1 and Severn had a very commanding pace over the rest of the D2 Drivers! Though having some troubles in turn 1, Captain overtakes and ships off in his Boat! What an epic battle in D3! That's Right! It was an all out Euclid vs Gears!! Though Euclid beat gears in Race 2, Gears was able to grab an epic fast lap time to edge out euclid in the Final Results! SoloRacerX grabbed the Pole for D3 but had some consistency troubles in Race 1 and could not resume the race and for Race 2 due to Suspension Problems! But the real question in Division 2 is Can anyone stop the Captain?! He has been on fire and has the momentum going into the big race this Saturday! Which Division 2 Driver can challenge the Captain? Or is he ready for Area 51?! Another question is Where is the world has all the Division 2 and Division 3 Drivers gone? Yeah PD has Online Problems but is that holding you out for Turtle Racing League Racing?! I tell you guys that are missing these kind of events, you are missing out! It was one of the more interesting races i have seen from all the Drivers!

I forgot to say, but my new best is 1:20.5 on the first set, and 1:21.3 on the glitched second sets.

Also found out, apparently you get the same tires as you start with on the third pit.
