Good race everyone in D3.
And congratulations to Daniel.

Yes, good race D1!

A bit disappointing for me at the end when my strategy didn't work and my front tires were on 2, had to make one more pit because that was undriveble. Definitely calling Pirelli tomorrow.:p

Congrats for the podium guys!

Thanks Leo! Somehow, my on the go strategy worked, and I had no idea what i was doing  I was running 2nd on lap 73, pit, went to 5th, and somehow with my fresh tires, I managed to get back to second. But @lightningd sure did put up a fight on those last two laps 👍

I should have done the same! When i saw you pit i thought " i will just cruise around to the finish" But when my tires reached 2 i was struggling even to get back to the pits, doing handbrake turns and cursing my strategist on the way.

Great race in D1! Klutch absolutely dominated the field, lapping me on the final lap while I was running 4th. Nice job! 👍 gr8racrs showed fantastic speed at the end to make the last lap pass for 2nd on lightning, who also ran strong all race. I missed out on the podium by 1 spot. :( I had a horrid first stint, going off course several times. Ran a 3 stop race, pitting at laps 20, 40, and 60. Those last three stints were much better. I believe I was 8th or 9th when I made my first pit stop, so my strategy and getting into a rhythm and actually staying on course helped to pick me up some spots by the end of the race. Just couldn't hold off a hard charging gr8racrs to finish in the top 3. Oh well. Great racing by all! I'm certainly worn out.

You ran great that entire race (2nd pretty much?) right up until the end the there. When those tires go, they go fast. I saw you did pick up a couple of the spots you lost before your final pit stop.

Yeah, you flew by me no problem though. I don't know how many times I saw you coming up to me on the map throughout the race. I could never hold you off. Apologies for the times we made contact. Going through those esses after the first turn were a pain in the butt. I know we ghosted through each through each other a couple times there, one time sending you into the grass (trying to un-ghost to make it realistic) early in the race. I tried to slow down to let you back by. Hopefully I didn't make you too mad. :guilty: You seemed to be better with your tire wear, because you always caught back up to me and put the pressure on. I eventually started to just move over in the later stages of the race when you would come flying up on me to keep from holding either of us up.

Yeah i was second until lap 65 i guess, and then gr8 passed me, not fault of the tires. After that it went down.

Btw, our qualify laps were pretty close( 1:19.800 / 1:19.885)

Yeah, you barely nipped me for that front row spot. I still don't know how I pulled that high 1:19 off, though. I never ran better than a 1:20 in practice. I think in the race itself, my best was a 1:20.356 or something along close to that. And that was on lap 67 I want to say. I guess a light fuel load, combined with fairly fresh tires contributed to that. Though I feel like I should have lost some horsepower at the end. I don't remember drafting off of anyone that lap, but maybe I did. It was one of those laps where I was driving almost subconsciously because I don't really remember the lap at all. I just looked up after I crossed the line and saw I had run my fastest lap of the race. Needless to say, I was quite surprised.

This always happens to me dolph, it seems that you enter in automatic mode and subconsciously make a fast lap. My best on the race was a 19.417 i think, at the beginning.

No problem man, I thought that one time was my fault, so that's why I let you go when I went off track, because I tried not to make contact and I put myself off the track :)

That was a fun race last night. I feel bad for thirdroy who either ran out of gas on the last lap or had some other issue. I think he had a slip up early in the race which spun him right into the pits, which likely threw off his pit strategy.

A significant number of D2 retired due to various mechanical issues (must be the new "power units"). I think there were only 3 of us left after 80 laps.

My pit strategy went to hell when I ended up using more gas than anticipated. Rather than risk running out I decided to pit a lap earlier on 27 and 54, still trying to keep it a 2 pit race. However, when I pitted on 54 I realized that I had had to fill my tank by default... Which meant I had a big risk of running out on the final lap... So rather than run that risk I decided "well, if I'm going to have to pit for a third time for just a couple gallons, I might as well burn the hell out of these tires" and I just went to town. I got down to 6's before pitting again at 67-68 and then burned the last set again to the finish. I didn't think I was going to catch Roy (who'd been my target the whole race) but then all of a sudden he was just coasting along on the final lap... Great race though, Roy... As far as I'm concerned you crushed me.

Freaking epic race last night in both quality and toughness! That was by far the most intense race I have done on GT6, the first couple of laps were white knuckle, spot on driving by everyone!! With such a short track and so many cars I thought it was going to be like Bristol:nervous:! You Turtles are the tops in my book! For my race, I had figured a 3 stop strategy. Early in the race lap 16 I think I had a spin into the pit lane and wound up with a "drive through penalty" costing precious time. On the fly I decided to try to stretch the tire and fuel as far as possible for 2 stops. I knew with 2 to go I was going to be dangerously close to pushing my car over the finish line. I mean I was coasting an "eco challenge" for about 5 laps! On the final lap with no fuel and tires I made a critical error :mad:of indecisiveness and slammed into the pit wall divider! Scrambled back on track and ran out of fuel crossing the finish line on the last lap! Words can not describe how disappointed I was 🤬 but still happy with my race and the performance of all the Turtles I raced with! Congrats to @Severn for your D2 win! We had some awesome battles along the way and my plan was to stick with you and push each other, at least until I spun!:banghead: Lol! Sorry we lost some people in both divisions along the way, but that seems par for the course these days! Great race everyone in D1/D2 room!!! Next week a little flat tracking in Japan maybe?...

I'm testing Formula thingies if anyone wants to get in on it. Tire wear, mandatory pit stops and tire changes... That sort of thing.

EDIT: Going to get some foodies, and I'll re-open it in an hour or two.

Sounds like most of you had a good time 👍

I wanted to catch the end of Sebring and since i couldn't record it, i had to watch live. Ended around 10:30, so i knew i was going to miss this one.

Looking forward to a proper enduro some time...

so i got in about 20 practice laps at 9pm. i didn't think much about pit strategy, so i was going to do one (at 40) or two (at 28 & 56) depending on the tires. I didn't even consider fuel, lol. after qual, i knew i was missing something being like 1.5 sec off the pace. i've never liked autumn ring as it just feels too choppy of a layout. the first few laps were intense, but i managed to break away from the field settling in 3rd. i've always been good on tires, so i was hoping the leaders would pit 3 or more times, and i could make up for it with my two. well, that might have worked if K1utch wasn't so damn fast, lol. 👍 Every lap i was losing a second in the first sector. aside from K1utch the strategy was working well. when i came in for the first pit stop at lap 28, i looked at the gas gauge and seen i was on fumes! whew, sometimes better lucky than good, haha. towards the end, i passed Leo late in the for 2nd and prepared for my silver, until Gr8racrs came out of no where to pass me on the last lap. my tires were worn and i tried to hold him off, but it was pointless, lol.

today i watched the replay to see what K1utch was doing in the first sector. i went into time trial and sure enough found that second and got a best theoretical one tenth off his fast lap. shouldacouldawoulda :banghead: :D

Momentarily opening another Formula lobby. Feel free to come if you just wanna chill in some fast cars.

Was thinking that the closest thing we have to this weekend's track is Bathurst, at least by distance. Australia and all, so that's where it'll be. Once I get my numbers, you guys can vote on the next place to go to, or if anyone knows where the next race will be, that'd be useful. :P

New tires lightning, new tires... :p I pit on laps 27, 50, and 73, and I didn't even plan my strategy  I knew that I could do at least 20 laps on a set of tires, so once I got to lap 65 or so, I just started running as fast as I could, and I pit on lap 73. Somehow, with the fresh tires, I gained up all the ground I had lost in seven laps  Lightning, that was a very great clean battle those last two laps, and I'd like to thank you for helping to keep it clean also  I was amazed that I was able to get around you, I thought you would've able to hold me off, but apparently that wasn't the case

that was a good one phisher keep EM coming I like the long single race format

Well, it looks like that new feature that wasn't announced today has something to do with who goes the fastest in the next weeks of Enduro..

Whoops

Yes the new feature is basically the car we use at the combo we bring to the nurb and run Time trials using that feature and record the times for each driver

I predict much :banghead: in my future

Good, i haven't run enough laps on the Nordschleife in GT6. What a great excuse to get back on it!
