I am interested in this but haven't picked cars yet. Do I absolutely need to have them broken in?

Entirely New Lineup:
BMW 320i Touring Car (428)
RUF 3400s (425)
Mini Cooper 1.3i (321)
Audi S3 (412)
Total: 1586
So on the website that you provided us, it says that the RUF 3400s is 462 pp, but after buying it from the online car dealership, it says that its 425, so which one do i use?

and here is mine from this:

Wolfsatz - VW Beetle Cup Car '00 (424) - Merc 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution '91 (361) - Lancia Statos '73 (417) PP - Audi Quattro '82 (UrQuattro) 406 - Total PP 1608

To this since DZ beat me to the RUF... rule about repeats?

VW Beetle Cup Car '00 FF 424
Lancia Statos 73 MR 417
Merc SL 500 (R129) '98 FR 389
Daihatsu Storia X4 '00 4WD 370

It is 425. The 462 was pre update 2.10. I think that is a great choice. As is the 320i. I was eyeing both of those for my next lineup. Cheeky using the Audi;)

This week there is no rule against repeats. If there were Danger would not be running the Audi. So you can switch if you want but I think it is much cooler being unique.

I may be able join in...haven't looked at anyone's choices so I'm curious how many duplicates I have...

Lancia Delta from the new car dealer
Ruf 3400
Integra Type R '01
Rx7 the one most recently used at GVE in Snail.

Ok gang,

With 11 signed up so far we should have a really good time Monday Night. There are a few things I want to go over before Monday.

First. I have a slight schedule conflict so the earliest I can start is about 10:30 EST/7:30 PST. With that in mind I would like to knock the races down to 15 minutes (we could do 10 minutes if people would like to finish a bit earlier). With a 10 minute qualifying period this will give us 70 minutes of track time and we should still finish before 12:00/9:00. If that is a problem and you guys want to start at 10:00/7:00 that is ok I will join when I can.

Second. We still need a host. Anyone have some good internet speeds?

Third. A lot of points have been brought up so I want to make a list of things to discuss. Perhaps you guys can mess around (might I suggest seeing how the Cappi RM compares to the Honda S800 Race car) until I show up and talk about the following:

1. Should cars be unique? If so are they to be first come first served or do we need a random drawing?

2. Should the podium finishers for the night be forced to change their lineup for the next night of racing? Perhaps forcing the winner to change 3 cars, the runner up 2 cars and third 1 car.

3. Should we let the winner choose a new PP level for the next night of racing. One note on this I feel small adjustments (+/- 25PP) would work better than just choosing a totally new number. But what do you guys think.

4. I would like to add a second set of tracks to the list. What if we had 4 sets of tracks grouped as follows:
Slow - Monaco, Tsukuba
Medium Slow - Twin Ring Motegi, Laguna Seca
Medium Fast - Spa, Suzuka
Fast - The Nord and Daytona Road Course
We would still run one from each group but the winner of the previous race would have a larger pool of tracks to choose for the next race. I would also like to add 1 fictitious track to each group but have not run them to check speeds yet. What do you think about this?

5. How should we do pts. Currently my plan is to use 16 pts for 1st, 15 pts for 2nd... and 2 pts for pole for a max of 64. Should we use 24 pts for 1st, 23 pts for 2nd… and say 4 pts for pole for a max of 100? Or are there other suggestions?

There are a few things I feel we should discuss after the racing such as tires, race cars, handicapping and whether we want to do this again. I would like us to race first rather than speculate on what might happen with these.

Lancia Delta from the new car dealer
Ruf 3400
Integra Type R '01
Rx7 the one most recently used at GVE in Snail.
Looks like to repeats The Ruf and the Integra although with that one it may be a different year. No big deal. I will try to figure out the PP total.

Lancia is around 406-409
Ruf is 425
Type R is 409 I think
Rx7 is 360
I found the PP's and they are in the second post now. You are a few over I believe but I would not worry to much about it for this week.

The thought is we will just knock 1 pt off your total for each PP over 1600;)

Lineup:

RUF 3400S - 425
Gathers Civic - 422
BluebirdRally- 320
Pajero Evolution - 430 on MGT but it's 438 in my garage.

Total - 1605 using my numbers. Only 1597 with MGT.

These are the PP totals from my garage after I refreshed the engine.

My Rx7 is 360. Type R '01 is 409. Ruf is 425. Delta should hit 406 broken in.

1600 exactly.

Only car not fresh and broken in is Lancia. It's 403 not broken in...probably hit 406.

Question: Will the cars only be running against cars of like DT.

EX: First race everyone use there FF. Second race everyone use their MR. Or can we pick the car we feel fits best for the track each time, never using the same car twice.

Make sense?

Joe,

You are right on the RX7. It is 360. My 360 mile Integrale is at 408. My Integra 01 is at 409 but has 40,000 miles. Pretty sure a fresh one will hit 412 like every other one I have tried. Does anyone have a sub 15,000km 01 Integra they can check? Until then we can call it 409.

RUF 3400S - 425
Gathers Civic - 422

My Pajero goes to 438 also and has 300ish miles so that is the correct PP. Basically if your PP is higher that the MGT site always go with yours. MY Bluebird also goes to 320. It is a 0 mile car but I am pretty sure it was an OCD purchase. I am running it in to confirm. Regardless that puts you a few PP over but no big deal. We will just dock your points by 5;)

My Integra has 19k. I freshened it up and it has 409.

Broke in the Lancia last night. 300 miles on it and it's at 407.

Dinner is pasta with red sauce, rolls and steamed vegetables. As soon as you stop playing on the front lawn, come and get it!

@ joby - I have a couple alt. cars. I'll submit a modified lineup to keep me under limit.

That is such a nice looking list that I assumed anyone that would pick it would be good at math;) I add your PP numbers and get 1603.

I hadn't thought to look at premium cars...

I tend to forget about them altogether. :dopey:

Just thinking ahead for the following event after this... No mention on DLC cars.

Would like to run VW Vi R10 / VW Scirocco R'10

I hope we can since we cannot run them on Sunday 👎
