I was going to like the post until you said to vote for Megane...lolTonight's replays are available at the SNAIL Race Car Series open drive.
@brntguy / bent - again, sorry for taking you out on the turn after the chicane on lap 2 of the second race. I started great, which was a first for me (for those circumstances - in the back with fast folks surrounding me) and I was certain I could make that inside line work, both for you (as in not drifting into your lane/line) and me (enough exit speed to get ahead). Also, apologies to @vovik05 as I messed him up when I was trying to get out of the way, along with anyone else that was affected (I suspect it affected others but didn't see who).
From there things only got worse, line-wise for me. Meaning I forgot how to drive but didn't hit anyone else. This was probably the worst race of my RCS career. So many mistakes . . .
Despite this, it was still fun, and it was another great season. THANK YOU @GGGMotorsport for everything you do to support this. I suspect most have no idea what it takes to run this, along with the TCS, because I had no idea until I became a Team SNAIL member, where I only do a fraction of your work.
End note: do not trust @ParkerMO125; it's a trap. You should most definitely vote for the Megane.
Thanks Grimm for another great season, I'm learning a bunch racing with this crowd!
@vovik05, sorry for getting slow through the last chicane right in front of you in race 2, I felt a bump but didn't realize it made you swerve and then get hit by kgffy and spin, my apologies to both of you.
On a more humerus note, and I have permission from DC to mention this, it is worth watching his pit entry at the end of lap 9 during race 1. There is two parts to it so keep watching, all I'm going to say is I nearly spit my coffee out watching it!
... But the only other person to only race three races was Fallen_log and I did better than him. It's the little victories.
Ditto to everything Parker said! What a fun season, although greedy on my part, still can't help but wonder how race 1 would've turned out had I not added full tank of fuel 2nd stop @vovik05 !really wanted that "perfect season". But no, you and me had intense neck and neck battles the entire season and we made each other go faster and faster! Was some of the best racing I've had. Hope to see you next season, rival
@aerolite , could not of asked for a better teammate! The funnest aspect of this series to me is having the Team Championship and I advise everyone to team up and do it next season. Aero and I spent many nights in private team practice and most of them ended up paying off I think(except for the whiskey nights) Sad to see us depart and find new teammates for next season but rules are rules
And to everyone else, you all rock! There's no better pleasure in sim racing than having that full grid, and that full grid sticks it out and finishes race after race no matter how good or bad it went for anyone. Whether your ultimate goal is to improve speed, racecraft, or just have fun, the way to do it is sticking it out and you all prove to be fine quality opponents.
This series is perfect IMO, and we all thank you @GGGMotorsport , you are levels and levels above what one could even dream of in wanting a quality sim racing league. And shout out to @SGETI for the awesome photos race after race and @brntguy 's video skills giving us awesome race reviews with grim!
