Each driver will be allowed to cast 1 vote for "City" track, 1 vote for "Original" track and 2 votes for "World" track from the list below.
Number of votes for each selection will equal the number of races participated in previous season.

I'd like to welcome the following new drivers to the series @SGETI, @vovik05, @aerolite, @kendawg! Id also like to welcome back returning drivers from the Part Time Drivers list @DMacs13, @Schmiggz and xsitement. With these additions, our current driver list is now closed at 28 Active Drivers for season 5. Please join me in welcome them to the series.

As some of you know, I will be leaving for vacation right after the All Star Race on Wed and will be gone until Sunday night 11/23. I hope to have most of the preseason tasks completed before I head out as I will have limited access to the forums via my laptop however I will have my phone with me so there may be delays in posting or responding to PM's.

Although I will be here for the All Star Race, I will not be available for the Season 5 PreSeason Shakedown Race on 11/19. Either @Zii1993 or @brntguy will host the lobby on a first come first serve basis that night.

A couple other things to note
  1. Season 5 Track voting is in process. Please refer to this post for more info and directions on how to submit your votes.
  2. Optional Team Championships - Details can be found here in this post. once you have your team formed, please send me a PM with the details (team name, Body and Wheel colors (paint chip names) so I can update the Spotters Guide.
  3. Later today, for those I dont have your current paint chip names for your body and wheel colors, I will be sending you all a PM asking for the info. Please respond as soon as you have the info so I can start on the Spotters Guide.
  4. Season 4 and Career Stats will be updated over thanksgiving weekend after I return from vacation.
Finally, many thanks to everyone for making Season 4 and the Series as a whole so much fun. If you have any questions, please let me know.

we typically run all four of the tracks for 10-15 mins each with no qualifing. Just to get a feel for the car in traffic

Hey Schmiggs. Since you are not in a current Sunday Snail Division nor have you run in the RCS series, I dont have you placed in a division for season 5. Sorry

That means you can only compete for the Individual Championship this season (Season 5). Next season (Season 6), you will be able to participate in the optional Team Championship
 
Regretfully, I have to announce that I will not be competing in this series for the foreseeable future. There are a number of reasons which have led me to this decision but the main one is the extremely late finish for me in the middle of a working week. I'm still committed to the Sunday night series but competing in the two of them us taking it's toll. I'll still be a bit of a night owl and will see you guys around but the race nights end after 4am and that is a bit extreme even for me! :lol:

I want to thank everyone, my various teammates, @brntguy for the exciting videos, Andrew for his classy photographs and especially Grim for being the driving force behind this great series.

Ditto to what Grim said, except I don't have his league administration superpowers. I assumed you were independently wealthy or worked non-traditional hours; intentionally staying up past 4 AM on a school night twice every week shows a level of commitment I rarely see these days. I am sorry to see you leave because we've had some awesome on-track battles over the course of this series. (I know I'll see you regularly in SNAIL proper but it's not the same, or rather you tend to be much faster than me there.)
