Good racing indeed. I ran out of fuel on the last lap. :banghead:
But otherwise I believe parcells and clutch battled it out for a while.

Yes Parcells faired quite well with Clutch throughout the race.

Sounds like it was fun.

I just did some practice laps at Trial Mountain Reverse with the Lexus for next season. It changes the rhythm so much. The opening chicane is so much more open and I like how the steep hill is now something you have to charge up after a 3rd gear turn so you can't punch it flat out right away. Then the run back down through the trees is beautiful. A lot faster than the other way around. The hairpin/tunnel section is roughly the same but right after gets quick. 3rd gear right out of the tunnel and you're barely straight from here until the end of the lap. Get up to 4th gear but immediately have to drop to 3rd for the left hand sweeper that has lots of room to navigate. Then the tight turn that's a pain going the other way around is a lot easier. Just drop to 2nd for the turn in and switch to 3rd to stability on the way out. The only painful part is the same both ways, that little hiccup jump before/after the tunnel. Then you sweep right open throttle to an open throttle right-then-left kink up a blind hill. Fun (sarcasm). High speed kink back onto the main straight and do it all over again.

Tell me that doesn't get you excited for this race.

So all updates stopped shortly before last night's AllStar run - WHAT HAPPENED? Was it fun? Good racing?
Sorry about that. I'm on vacation until the 23rd so minimal updates from me but will get caught up when I return.

Not sure if you missed my post but you can watch the race as it was broadcast live. Although it was a pretty quiet lobby when they were racing what banter before during and after was also caught. You can still watch it if your interested here. http://www.twitch.tv/snailgt6leagueracing/b/588183067

Not that I'm dissatisfied with the results but why so many blank spaces guys? You earn your vote rights if you race. Make use of them. 👍

I did and what happened to them is beyond me? I guarantee it was something that I did or did not do? But I did submit my votes like I always have cuz I need all the help I can get and I like to be able to have that chance to maybe get on 1 of those tracks but.. Honestly going to these tracks I don't know will only help me in the long run!! just want to practice and make the field! Easy enough right? Lol. gonna set the goal to make all 4 races is this season!! 👍 I'm ready.. can't wait till next week!

Good morning folks

Just a reminder that tomorrow night is the Season 5 Shakedown races that @Zii1993 will be hosting on a first come first serve basis. For those that have not done it before, the shakedown races are unofficial practice sessions with 10-15 min race on each of the tracks we will be running. Good chance to get a feel for the car in traffic and for the newer guys to get to know everyone. I will be back on Sunday night and will finish wrapping up the season 4 stats and get ready for season 5.

Really looking forward to getting the season going. The car should produce some good racing.

Hey Guys, I see the community features have been released however Im not able to get to my PS3 until sunday night. Can someone explain a few things for me.

1 - Can you belong to more than one club?
2 - What features does it offer?
3 - Would it be good to have one for the RCS?

Depending on how this works, I can create a group/club/community for RCS sunday night.

Thanks

I am going to think about one for the GT1 league. But I can't check until I get done with school.

Game is still installing as I type.

I looked but couldn't find the start time for tonight, is it the same as a race night?
Tks.

I did see on the website that it said Current Club(s) so I would say that you could belong to more then one club but "With discovery you must experiment"

Tonight's shskedown race will be at the normal time. 9pm est
I'll run through all 4 tracks twice, then the all star track if enough people are interested.

I am part of 3 clubs now already. GTPlanet already has a Club, as well as the SNAIL Enduro racing. The nice thing is, any member of the club can start a club only event, and anybody in the club can join.

You can belong up to 8 different clubs. A club can schedule races if needed and there's a section to update and share your profile page (generic GT6 stuff, picture, interests, general social media crap).

But what you cannot do and is personally a huge disappointment is the abliity to gift cars...Serenity Now!!!

Just a heads up to those racing tonight there is a PS3 system update as well as the gt6 update.
Tonight's room will open around 8:30pm est. and will be first come first serve. So don't forget to get those updates done early.

thanks for the info. Sunday night I'll great a club for the series and then will post here when it's ready.

Alright cool guys I might be running late for the shakedown.... And I still have to choose a color...

By the way, what time is the shake down?

Racing til around 10 or so?

I'm sorry guy's but it was best I left early tonight. I had a crappy day as it was dealing with a div issue, so I wasn't the happiest SNAIL tonight to start with. Then to get knocked around like I did at Rome was just making me more angry so the best thing to do was just call it a night. Certainly not the way I wanted to start things off with this series, and those that know me, know this is not my usual way by any means.

Yea, there was way more banging around of metal in that room than any race I've been in with the same group. Practicing on a few unfamiliar tracks. I ran about the same times we were practicing at Aero. I found a couple more lines and times following Schmiggz until he took off like a man possessed.
