Hosts should start the night's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to delay the start would be to give someone who was in the room their three minutes to return.

Difficult to follow all the posts on starting procedure. Everyone hits the gas after leader passes the sign? Or after each driver passes the sign?

The race starts when the leader reaches the starting point. Everyone may accelerate at that point but you may not pass before you reach the starting point.

Don't know if this has been reported, but it's the first time I've seen this issue: In R1R1 and R2R1, my car had traction control on for the race even though I had traction control set to prohibited. @Kgffy also reported this bug in R2R1. It seems like staying in the pits and starting the race causes the issue, and leaving the pits before starting the race fixes it. Quite a strange bug that we haven't got before tonight.

It has been reported and is a big reason why it's allowed to be used. It should not be set to prohibited.

so it's ok if a car starting behind is 1-1/2 car lengths in front before the first corner? That doesn't seem right.

As long as they didn't make the pass before the starting point then it's OK. The guy that got passed needs to pay attention and get a better start.

Edit: That's my assessment without seeing the start or having any real details. If you have an issue with it, file an IR and let the stewards look at it.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.
