Ahh, soo looking forward to be relegated to D7 again, I'm on my way DC, red latern last night, always said I'm not ready for D6, but somebody decided something else and 4 regular racers were promoted by 1 shot to D6 and I saw D7 had 6 :rolleyes: racers on the grid yesterday...hmmm

Hey guys, if any of you have DiRT Rally, come check out the league I just fired up, Tet Group Rally League. Its a three stage week long rally event, with cars and stages cycling every Monday. Just started it up today, to the details are still getting hammered out, but the base is there and should be lots of fun.

Honestly, I wish they would add this guy as a co-driver. It would certainly make it interesting.


That said, this is probably my favorite rally video.

Imagine taking away the walls and major track boundaries to any major motorsport and just letting the fans go wherever the hell they want. Crazy.

I can see in the first few years of Rallying...the fans all lining the roads cheering on their favorites...maybe a couple of cars each year careens into the crowd killing a few onlookers.

Whoops...hey Bob, let's sit a little further up that hill. Last year a few guys in my neighborhood died when they stood there.

But now, rallying is a long standing sport spanning decades. Anyone who stands on/next to the track are just crazy idiots. They know what can happen because it happens every year.

I love watching rally racing but I cringe when see those idiots leaning out into the road when a guy goes by sideways at 80mph.

Im on about everyday so there can be practice rooms all the time... What r the combos for sunday night coming up

We won't know until the points are all tallied and even after that we have to wait for any IRs filed to be taken care of because they may change who wins what. Usually Tuesday night or sometime Wednesday we find out the combos.

I think that may be one of the reason the FIA pulled the WRC out of North America. At Rally America events, spectators are only allowed in certain areas and have to stay back mostly safely back behind birms and tree lines.

Thanks @McTrucker....I did not expect to win last night. Of course luck had a lot to do with it plus we were missing a couple of heavy hitters also... But what the heck I'll take it.
I was curious so I checked the stats sheet and the last time I won a Sunday night was 14 long months ago. So it sure felt good to get a W.
My favourite moment last night was the spin and win at RBR. Of course I gotta thank everyone else for spinning out also...so thanks guys lol.
Good clean racing last night also...thumbs up to everyone!!!! :cheers:

Yeah. Just think...Lewis Hamilton screams by as fans are literally blown away from the track edge by the aero forces from the car.
 
But he doesn't rally race, so, probably not the safest choice. I mean, could you imagine an F1 car trying to fly down a logging route or snow mobile trail?

Round 3 - Caterham Seven Fireblade '02 (Racing: Hard) at Red Bull Ring Short Track (12 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Ness gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ricky Wilson so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

Haha, actually I've got it so that that is the default combo whenever the page loads. I only chose it because I liked that picture of Toscana, and well, the 05 STi is a great rally car. :) In the future I may just make it load a random combo initially.

Having just come back from volunteering at Rallye Defi I confirm the spectators are crazy. You can't sit on the bridge! Do not sit on the edge of the bridge!!! Particularly on this stage at 4:55. I saw a couple Subarus less then a foot from the side of the bridge in 2013.
