Requesting a step-by-step solution, or recommendation ......... us older folks are slower on the uptake (or download) these days.

While driving the Cape Ring Periphery, I have experienced a "lag, or dead zone" at the top, or center of the wheel travel, while going thru the downhill esses.

With the G-27 Wheel, I could reduce (if not eliminate) the "dead zone" at the center of the wheel travel, with a combination of buttons pressed at the same time. (wish I could share the link, and specific name, etc). It had something to do with wheel control radius.

Have a G-29 now and have programed the buttons to my liking.
Yet I have not found a "combination" to reset the Radius of Wheel Sensitivity - and thereby remove the Dead Zone.

Note: The G-29 does not have a Select button - only Share, Option, and the PS.

I tried finding a way to do it for GT6 and couldn't... If anyone did, I'd like to know as well, since it feels weird driving with the full 900° range now.

From my understanding the G29 registers on the PS3 as a Driving Force GT which is why you cannot adjust the quickness of the rack(lower the radius numerically), or use the clutch and shifter.

Thank you.
Picked up th G-29 early to get used to it prior to GT Sport.
The old, reliable G-27 is long gone - so, will make do.

What were you guys using instead of 900 and why was it so great? I've always had 900 since I used a DFGT and G29 now so I know nothing else. I'm just used to it I guess.

The Default setting felt "loose" at the center - with a delay when going quickly from one direction to the other. As in negotiating a series of eases.
Setting the wheel radius at 670 seemed to remove that delay.

I used 450, because it closely matched what the hands on screen were doing. Just felt the car responded better that way.

Now pick up a PS4, Project Cars and come to the Dark Side, Tex!

I can always fix that, just lemme know ;)

Let's mess with the combos!

-GT-R Nismo at Cape Ring South
-Lister Storm at Mount Panorama
-Mazda Furai at Mid-Field

I bet that would be fun just for the hell of it. Anyone wanna get on today?

Mayyybe.. what time were you thinking?

ok... we are on the same rythm again.

Happy Friday Snails!

Here's how some view passing opportunities .

Last night practice was very fun! @MajorBlixem pulling a victory at the 1st race holding back @turnupdaheat and @msgt-sd. Good Laps Major!
Then he avoids X's sunday drive and finishes 3rd on the reverse grid. GT-R likey likey! I am also starting to get the rythm of Bathurst that has eluded me.

Round 2 saw some close racing up front in the pack! It is great when a faster driver respects your line, pace, breaking; yet unbelievable close racing with @msgt-sd 👍👍 @turnupdaheat @Whitey093

Round 3 is probably the least liked of all. There is a huge separation on lap times from D1 to D3/4 drivers.
Avoid mistakes and you shall endure 10 laps!

The new kid on the block Alpha is one speedy driver.

BTW... Any interest to hold a practice session tonight?

Every day I wonder to myself:

Should I treat others how I want to be treated or treat them how they treat me
First option. If everyone did it, we would live in a very different world.

My very long and unsuccessful Jesuit education pressed that point a lot and whenever we tried it, we would have a better climate in class (it quickly devolved into chaos, though). They just didn't really talk about the whole "kill whoever gives you grief" bit they used in the Americas, but I guess that would have been a bad lesson to 9 year old boys...
