...How about them Flames?
Had to watch my beloved Wings fall apart in their season opener last night. And we now have Steve Ott - a goon that I've always yelled obscenities at when he played us. Maybe he'll grow on me. Excited to see Thomas Vanek and Frans Nielsen added to the roster though. One game into the season, lots of hockey to watch!

So that's where he is now? Always remember getting in trouble as a kid for calling him 'not so nice' names whenever he would try and pick fights with Iginla back in the day...

Wings acknowledged they needed some grit. We got grit. He says it's been his life long dream to wear the winged wheel, and he's super excited. Hopefully he can add skill as much as Braun. He got in a fight last night .

And Iginla, always hated watching the Wings play him too. But wouldn't dare say something disrespectful to him - he's just friggin' awesome - especially against the Wings. He always scores against us... Always.

Requesting a step-by-step solution, or recommendation ......... us older folks are slower on the uptake (or download) these days.

While driving the Cape Ring Periphery, I have experienced a "lag, or dead zone" at the top, or center of the wheel travel, while going thru the downhill esses.

With the G-27 Wheel, I could reduce (if not eliminate) the "dead zone" at the center of the wheel travel, with a combination of buttons pressed at the same time. (wish I could share the link, and specific name, etc). It had something to do with wheel control radius.

Have a G-29 now and have programed the buttons to my liking.
Yet I have not found a "combination" to reset the Radius of Wheel Sensitivity - and thereby remove the Dead Zone.

Note: The G-29 does not have a Select button - only Share, Option, and the PS.
WRONG WHEEL!
I have four wrong wheels as paper weights!
@JLBowler had posted, a long time back about the ThrustMaster T300rs and the (RICMO TECH) adapter!
that allows you to continue using your G27 Pedals with your new T300rs!

I took his advice and can't be any happier then a pig in $**t!

I constantly had to work on that G27 Wheel, The money I spent?

My opinion is, DON'T waste your money!
If your serious about on-line racing! then go for the Best.

Don't want to double post, so I'm adding this Video here.

As promised, (Please note the Race craft and SKILL!) of all the Driver's!

ok... we are on the same rythm again.

Happy Friday Snails!

Here's how some view passing opportunities .

Last night practice was very fun! @MajorBlixem pulling a victory at the 1st race holding back @turnupdaheat and @msgt-sd. Good Laps Major!
Then he avoids X's sunday drive and finishes 3rd on the reverse grid. GT-R likey likey! I am also starting to get the rythm of Bathurst that has eluded me.

Round 2 saw some close racing up front in the pack! It is great when a faster driver respects your line, pace, breaking; yet unbelievable close racing with @msgt-sd 👍👍 @turnupdaheat @Whitey093

Round 3 is probably the least liked of all. There is a huge separation on lap times from D1 to D3/4 drivers.
Avoid mistakes and you shall endure 10 laps!

The new kid on the block Alpha is one speedy driver.

BTW... Any interest to hold a practice session tonight?

You Know I'd go for it!

Chronicles of a Friday Night Practice Accepted!

I really hope that @thorracing was able to save and capture this into a youtube video, but it was an EPIC race in many levels.

On track @GTLehman @thorracing @WIDEeyedDRIVR @Kgffy @TBongX @pubason @Wolfsatz @ @Alfa_Avanti44

start of a 7 lap practice race. GTL starts on pole followed by Thor and WeD

Mid-Field Raceway by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Still 1st lap right before the 1st tunnel, no changes at the front, but the back starts changing.

Mid-Field Raceway_1 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

... Battle for 4th on the 2nd lap, @TBongX with his excellent defensive lines holds his line.
@Alfa_Avanti44 behind him, I attack the middle and @Kgffy on the inside with a really good run. @Alfa_Avanti44 great run gets blocked by TBong... 3 wide down the main straight.

Mid-Field Raceway_2 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

... Under heavy braking, no one gives up and we go 3 wide into the the apex.

Mid-Field Raceway_3 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

... At the apex, everyone holding their line and while there is contact on all involved, everyone comes out relatively at a good speed. @TBongX holds his line outside, I get sandwhiched and @Kgffy holds a very tight line on the inside! Usually these end up very ugly but this one was a piece of work!

Mid-Field Raceway_4 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

... shot from the front, Turn 1 lap 2. @Alfa_Avanti44 gets set up for a better launch at turn 2.
Mid-Field Raceway_5 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

.. Turn 2 Lap 2, and now @Kgffy @Wolfsatz @Alfa_Avanti44 on a proper file. @TBongX on the outside is able to fend off @Alfa_Avanti44 as he gets better speed on the outside coming into turn 3.

Mid-Field Raceway_6 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Lap 3, the speeders start to get closer to the front, @GTLehman still leads @WIDEeyedDRIVR and @thorracing, while the smoker defending speed attacks from @Alfa_Avanti44

Mid-Field Raceway_7 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Battle for 3rd, takes me a whole lap to chase down @thorracing while fending off @Alfa_Avanti44 right behind.
Mid-Field Raceway_8 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

6th lap and 1 to go. @GTLehman still holding the lead and @WIDEeyedDRIVR fending off the Wolfs attack, while @Alfa_Avanti44 trying to capture any space left. @thorracing following close by

Mid-Field Raceway_10 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Last lap into the first tunnel, double attack, @WIDEeyedDRIVR trying different lines to get passed GTL and Wolf fending off @Alfa_Avanti44 on the inside. Another example of giving just enough space to avoid major impact and still maintaining good speed.
Mid-Field Raceway_11 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

last lap at the hair pin, @GTLehman still leading WeD; WeD lining up the final attack. At the back @Kgffy has caught up to @thorracing for a good grouping shot!

Mid-Field Raceway_12 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Into the tunnel, @GTLehman tries to avoid the rumble strip, tries to correct and gets just a bit loose (from what I could see) and just enough for weD to get the rear quarter panel even though he is following a different line.

Mid-Field Raceway_13 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Counter shot! Into the Tunnel last lap!
Mid-Field Raceway_16 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Glam shot!
Mid-Field Raceway_17 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Mid-Field Raceway_18 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

3rd place falls to @thorracing with @Kgffy in 4th at the line.
Mid-Field Raceway_19 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

Cool Down! Great racing from @Alfa_Avanti44 always very respectfull of all slower traffic but always ready to pounce!
@WIDEeyedDRIVR slows down for GTL to catch up as it is the SNAIL way.

Mid-Field Raceway_15 by Wolfsatz, on Flickr

PS.
To whoever is in charge. I can confirm that Chatva is dead and @thorracing deserve a chance to race in SNAIL. His behavior on track is one of a true Gentleman! @zer05ive @nmcp1 @CoachMK21 @JLBowler

Whoa! Dude!
I for sure wouldn't except that from You!

Humbly, I Thank You :boggled:

Hey everyone, I really miss you guys, when I look at the past races we all did, man it brings back good memories of all the clean racing and close battles, here's a video for you guys, from project cars, hope you guys enjoy, and God bless, shout out to @vovik05 for really bringing this league to shine as of today. If anyone has any requests of videos I should do let me know via PM, thanks everyone!:gtpflag::gtpflag:

I wanna sign up in SNAIL, how its work?

@o0Maxx0o

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
