Playstation Gold: I've owned them for over a year and they work pretty good. Battery about seven hours on full charge. My only complaint, the plastic housing where the hinges are has started to crack. I don't have a large head, but I do have a tendency to pull pretty hard on them when I take them off. I might have cracked them by being too rough with them. The sound is good, the wireless feature is awesome, and they are comfortable. I liked them a lot until they cracked, but like I said, that could be my fault. I was kinda... in the bag the night I cracked them. :odd:

Thank you jnmjeeper, actually after watch more reviews, I'm between Gold or Turtle Beach PX3,

Playstation Gold could be use in other devices (PC, MAC) or only PS3?

Hey I'm just watching some headsets for PS3 and really don't know which is the best option, actually, I just made a quick look into the net, lol, and saw these options but don't know how good are.

I saw Plantronics RIG and Playstation Gold or even Silver Edition, Turtle Beach PX3

Any Suggestion or Comment????????
Playstation gold, i just got them and so far I'm not disappointed.

Sorry ness, just did some research on it for you and it is exclusive for the ps3, so no pc or mac. However though that Turtle Beach PX3 you're talking about does work on both pc and mac, but it's up to you with the wired or wireless feature. This one is wireless and I can tell you I have a real hate towards wireless headphones, but I think that's just me. I know many people who have gotten along with it just fine. ;)

Sorry Gavin but not true. I have one but don't just take my word on it:

"The gold headset comes with a wireless USB dongle that works not only with your PS4, it also with any PC or Mac computer. You can simply plug it in and your computer should automatically recognize it, letting you use it for audio input and output. While dongle-free Bluetooth functionality would've probably been preferable, it's still nice to use a flexible, non-proprietary piece of gaming hardware. The included 1/8" cable lets you plug it into any other device that has a regular headphone jack (including a PlayStation Vita or a PS4 controller) or even use it on a phone or computer for Skype calls. You can also charge the headset using the same cable you use to charge your PS4 controller."

If you're looking for a well made, uncomplicated, great sounding and relatively inexpensive headset you won't go far wrong with either the Playstation Gold or the PX3 so really it will come down to which one you can get the best deal on. As I say, I have the Sony headset and it is very good at what it does but if you are an audiophile looking for the ultimate in sound quality and adjustability you will need to look further up the range.

I use it for both the PS3 and PS4 and it is a very simple process of plugging in the USB dongle and off you go.

I second this

Does anyone have a Pole Position Raceway near them? That's the only real racing experience I am close to. I was looking into their endurance races and they have them quite often. 45 and 90 minute races with pit stops to change karts. The other thing I noticed is that they sometimes combine both tracks to form what they say is the longest karting track in America at over 1/2 mile long.

Has anyone else been to PPR and have you seen them combine the tracks?

There are 3 PPR within 90 minutes of me. Rochester is 30 minutes, Buffalo is 60 and Syracuse is 90ish. This fall they are doing a league that will race at each track with a combined winner. I've done a dozen or so races at the Rochester track and a couple in Syracuse. The tracks at these places are just a single circuit. I've heard of the NJ one that has 2 tracks that they combine. That would be pretty cool.

I too never heard of more than one circuit. The only one I've been to was in Florida and they only have room for one track. The idea of a longer one is very cool. I plan to go when they have it and take pictures.

I do and I believe I posted a couple of videos from it on here. I have 2 here in vegas that I frequent

These endurance races are FUN! Make sure you have fast teammates and a lot of experience if you want a shot at winning. Each driver switches about every 8-10 mins. My local P2R has a short track, I've never heard of one being a half mile.

I would like to join snail..

@AsamiHanasaka

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Thanks to those in the Red Room last night. Wil Wheaton Law definitely strong there.

Thanks dude but we've not quite guaranteed our qualification yet but beating the World Champions has ensured we are in a playoff at the very least. One more match to go against Poland away where a win or a draw with a score of 2-2 or more will automatically qualify us.

Between that and our qualification for the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup has our little country excited about how our national teams are performing on the international stage.
