Helmet and suit decals looks like it will be cool but not a fan of just going to ps store and buying the cars in my opinion and that's just me it kinda feels like it takes away from the gran turismo spirit a lil but over all looks to be a fun update with alot of new content thanks for sharing @ChauncyMarsh

Looks like buying the cars is an option (the PS Store button can be turned off) for those who don't want to grind credits, or just want a certain car.

Car and track lists updated. Follow links in my signature.

Please note when choosing a combo that the lap times has to be less than 4 minutes before we can use it in SNAIL. So, there will only be a limited amount if cars that could be used on the new circuits

New track out and its three variants of some long fake road course like Alsace. New F1 car can't use the livery editor.

Otherwise huzzah more content

July Standings have been updated.
At a quick glance @stelephant pulled off quite a feat. He scored 87 points in all 3 races he participated in.

I would say the July Season was pretty successful in more ways than one. Great competitive racing all around - and we added 9 new SNAILs to the clan! (with a few new ones pending)
@M1SS-D3V10US @giteemcarl @Jw_wk1010 @Zalcecan @TheSlowOne @Shotgungho @Joseph Tito @Mike Pate @AdamK3190

Great job!
I am glad you noticed my attention to detail. It was hard work to get exactly the same score for the three weeks I participated.

So glad that we have been adding SNAILs (or some coming back). Great July season!

It's actually 5 minutes:

GT Sport track list can be found here.

Prize winners are allowed to choose the time of day for their track selection. If a specific time of day is not selected then the default time of day will be used. (Note: The time of day settings differ between arcade and online modes in the game. Always check the lobby settings when selecting time of day.) In the event that a track is frozen, the time of day will also be frozen with the track.

Please remember that any car and track combo chosen must produce a mid-division lap time that is under 5 minutes. Also note that any selected track will be bound by the SNAIL lobby settings.

Important Announcement

Back in January, the BoD took up a discussion to investigate raising the credit cap for cars that can be selected for Sunday night racing. The proposal that came from that discussion was to raise the cap to 1 million cr. and to have it be effective for the start of the April season. That proposal lost some steam and other topics took over the attention of the BoD.

The BoD has picked up this discussion and has come to a decision today.

Effective with the start of the April season, the credit cap for cars eligible for selection on Sunday night racing will be raised to 1 million cr.
With the new Mercedes F1 car at a very obtainable 2 million cr. and the credit cap for prize cars being increased at around 6 months after release date, hopefully by the end of this year the Mercedes F1 W08 may show up on a Sunday night ;)

I had mentioned that division winners were not likely to be upset. Turns out untrue for D3 because three racers missed one race week and raced the 4th, placing @racingchamp30 who was leading the points chase, in slot 4 for July.

I also thought that La Sarthe wouldn’t make it past one Sunday! The dynamic of straight away strategy really mixed things up. Lots can happen in 3.5 miles and it did! I have a new appreciation for this track.

The racing last night was extremely competitive with lots of incredible passes. Thanks D2 guys.

I tried out the F1 Car at one of the new circuit layouts. It handles pretty well.

I'm thinking Labor Day Special at Monza - 52 Laps (Sep 2nd). Also happens to be the same day as the Italian Grand Prix. Too bad we don't have a Ferrari....

Mandatory pit stop. Two tire compounds. We'll figure out other details later.

So, start building up credits and buy this one if you want to race on Sep 2nd
