Who had fun tonight? Well I sure as hell did!!! @GTLehman , some great battles tonight! Love sharing corners with you and trading positions. I'd outbrake you, get the inside, and you'd outpull me on the straight. Rinse and repeat. Man that was fun. @Mike Lobban and @yogi bear , what a great start to the second race, huh? I was pressuring Bear with everything I had, he was defending with everything he had, and Mike was pushing hard to stay within striking distance. Mike knew that there would be an incident as hard as Bear and I were racing each other. Unfortunately, he was right. I was conscious of Mike's strategy, and was being careful to get around Bear cleanly. I did get around him by outbraking him in turn one, but got my tires too hot in doing so. The next couple corners found my little Cayman as squirrely as a... well, squirrel I guess. I tapped the protruding wall, got slowed down significantly, Bear had to lift to miss me, and Mike struck. Lucky B.O.B.

An exciting night. I'm just loving the mixed class racing. Don't have enough good things to say about the courtesy of all the drivers in each class. Everyone's awareness of faster/slower traffic makes this so fun. Thanks to all, and Happy Holidays to all.

And @racingchamp30 , love to see you lurking. Don't know how you've remained so patient. There's so many good things coming to you in just one week. I can't imagine how blown away you're going to be by the new games that PS4 has to offer. GTSport is really fun, and really gorgeous. PCars 2 is just sooo realistic and immersive. You're going to be blown away by the new games. I also think you'll love this Monday night experience. Don't hesitate, jump right in. If you're slow the first couple weeks don't worry about it. It'll just make you catch up that much faster. This group isn't as much about the competitiveness as it is the fun. We look forward to seeing you on track.

Merry Christmas to all you guys. Look forward to seeing you all in some random rooms between now and our next official race night.

Gr8_Lakes / Jeff

Thank you and i am looking forwards to racing against you all on track very soon.

Sorry for the early exit tonight boys, just wasnt feeling it.
:( I often look for you when I'm playing GTSport, but rarely see you online. Hopefully I'll catch you on a night when we can run some laps without a large crowd. There's just a huge gap between playing the game, and competing online - and I need to learn how to bridge it. I can gold all the missions/licenses/track experiences on the first try. But when it comes to racing in the Sport races, people are finding ways to pick up time that I just don't understand. It's kind of what made me not like GT6, but maybe you can give me a few pointers. I think you're finding out how difficult it is to race two games in the same week. Especially with a wheel! The two games just don't translate.

Well guy's, a great ending to the year with a fun night of racing. Other than a few glitches in the first race pit stops and a couple of other issues for some, it all went well. The glitch at the beginning of the evening has been taken care of, and the next patch will see it never return.:D

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the Lobanaro Lounge to help make it the great and fun night of racing and comradery that it has become, without you guys it wouldn't be what it is. And to my partner in crime, I'm glad we made the decision back in Feb to have a go at our own series, we get to race with our old buddies and have made some great new friends along the way!

Mike and I will try our best to keep coming up with interesting combo's, and like we always say, shoot us some idea's if you have them. It's tough to keep coming up with ways to keep you all entertained! We do have some extra time now before the next event so we will try our best to come up with something "devilish" :mischievous: The next race night will be Jan 8, 2018, so until then, stay safe and enjoy the holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Congrats to @The__Camel, this weeks "Mr. Aawesome" for the Grp A win  (That's seven in a row now,)

Congrats to @aerolite , this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the Grp B win  ( I get to annoy Lobban for three weeks now :D)

Yeah......what he said!!!

It's the guys who make the room and you guys have made it super fun over the last long time. Keep the jokes and banter coming in the new year. You guys are the best.
Thanks to Aero, my bum buddy, he carries the bigger load of responsibility to make this room organized, any technical glitches are mostly on me. Thanks Steve.......Mr. Bawesome. Hurts to say that.
BoB came out last night.......it was needed. Sure got quiet after that....for a bit anyway......issue solved.
This time of year brings out the BoB in me a lot... I'm not a big fan of Christmas, especially Christmas music, it bugs me almost as much as Colts inane ramblings, if I hear Bing Crosby (the child abuser), one more time, I'm gonna go all bus driver and Gutter will have to negotiate my surrender. In my career, this time of year brings out the worst in people and the lowly bus driver was always an easy target for the unwashed masses.......So Baaaaaa Humbug.......I fart in all a y'all's general direction.

See ya next year.........Wankers

Light American beer..........why bother? I cant drink donkey urine.
Yea, would have to drink a whole case to even get a buzz!
Jeff, you know it’s just a thing us Canucks have to do, bash ‘Murican beer whenever we can! Especially the light stuff!!

Now, this is real beer! Most of these are in the 5 to 8% alcohol range and actually have flavour :D

masterbat..... what?, Oh, I was totally wrong. Damn eyes anyway. LOL

Don't get me wrong boys. I love real beer. But if I drink real beer when I'm racing with you guys, I'll start mumbling and rambling on, and nobody else will be able to get a word in. So I stick to the watered down stuff for race nights. And yes, that's all from our past race nights.

I believe that’s called a coltsinus infection, also known as mad penguin disease

I’m more of a bourbon/scotch/whiskey (whisky) guy, but I do miss La Fin Du Mond. It’s French for “The End of the World”. Somewhere around 9%, but the special brew they come out with every 5 years or so has 14%. I used to love going to Montreal or QC and sneaking, I mean importing, a couple of cases of it back home.

I’m in! Driving the Red Dragon Porsche!
No, you were flying the Red Dragon Porsche...
Cleaning out the basement. You guys are a horrible influence on me!View attachment 700403
I haven't had a Budweiser (or Miller etc.) product in 20+ years -- I never was much for 'beer' until the microbrew revolution. Sure as hell wish I had learned to brew back then - I could be rich now! I really love a good stout, and that's something I miss about living in CO/NM is the huge amount of breweries around with a wide selection of delicious and affordable beer and ale. There's two here and they're pretty good but they charge outrageous prices for a growler fill.

Yes, Monday was a great night - lots of fun. Something I have finally started to appreciate is how the track conditions affect traction - that is just really cool and makes the experience that much better.

Merry Christmas to you all! Hope we can get some unofficial action in during the next few weeks.

Well that was the last thing I would have expected to see posted here, especially by a ‘Murican, lol. Unibroue, a great brewery and some amazing beers! Maudite is my favourite from them and I used to regularly drink Raftman when we lived in Quebec and it was more readily available. I am also a big Scotch/Bourbon/Whiskey drinker as well. I just wish our prices were like yours, we get reamed here!

And Jeff, don’t blame you for drinking the weak stuff while racing, I do like that you consumed all that while in your rig though,. Some Friday nights I drink too many of my strong one’s and that Coltsinus infection starts kicking in! (Good one Robbie!)

Uni-brow (what we lovingly called the brewery) makes some great beers that have won a bunch of awards. Like GT said; Colorado has some good microbreweries, too, so I’m kind of spoiled living here now. I used to watch the B’s take on the Habs in Montreal when I lived in Burlington VT because we were only about 1.5 hours away. I’m sure SGETI gets up there every once in awhile since he’s relatively close. I’m originally from Boston, so I’m a Masshole by birth but have learned to speak “proper” (non-Boston) English. I’ve included a translation guide so you guys can better understand SGETI and his foreign language:

Aero,

close enough. It's a 1980 Honda CB750F, R6 front end, Multistrada swing arm. Very nice build.

Not mine though, I wish.

Nicely done, very cool!

I bought a brand new CB900F when they first came out in '81. At that time it was Honda's biggest sport bike. This pic was second ride, (so few pics from those days!), completely stock. I soon put lower bars on, Got rid of airbox and put K&N's on, a 4into1 exhaust and a Cal-Fab swingarm.

Here's one for Shats and giggle's,
I was given this rare '76 CJ360T derelict, still runs though.

I'm going to turn it into this and then flog it for a few grand to some Hipster, lol.

Awesome pic from your 900! We were brave to ride with those helmets. I laugh of the hipsters buying Bell Bullitts today. They sure look cool, but are not half as protective as a modern helmet.

And your new project bike sounds like fun.

sweet bikes guys... Always wanted to try and run one on a track

Just uploaded this morning, it's of myself trying to navigate through some slow people with more HP than talent... And at the end is my fastest lap that race which was good enough for a new track record!

That’s cool Robbie! A little close for comfort with that seven replica or whatever it is, at the 1:20 mark!
Reminds me of racing my 125GP bike, get smoked on the straights by bigger and faster bikes then humble the crap out of them in the corners!

All right, it’s now time for show and tell. We’ve seen Robbie’s cool/drool worthy race car, Gr8’s jammin’ Jeep and Mike’s Old-school Honda 900. Lets see what everyone drives/flies/rides/or floats & fishes with. Here are mine: a W204 Mercedes tuned by a company called Brabus. Not a full on Brabus Bullit Black Arrow (look it up), but still plenty exciting. And my weekend and track toy: a 1986 Porsche 928 widebody by Strosek. It’s one of very few built with a 5.0 liter V8 and a 5 speed transmission with a limited slip diff. It was a show car at the 1986 Chicago International Auto Show.

Show us what you’ve got (or had), and Bear, you better post pics of a ‘69 Camaro or I’m calling the RCMP and reporting that you’re not a hockey fan. I hear that’s a crime punishable by death up in Canada!
