Here you go Steve. You'll see something very cool. There's a graduation in the video. Once I start letting the VR absorb my brain, my eyes just start focusing on the center-line ahead. That's when I'm sure most people start getting sick. There's a real feeling of the bottom dropping out when you hit those big jumps. Myself... I was in the Merchant Marines for a couple years. I slept through storms that would make cruise goers ralf their brains out. I don't get motion sickness. Once I'm into it, you'll see me wipe out, and before I pull back on track, I'm looking up road to make sure no traffic is coming! CRAZY!!!

There's a couple more on my YouTube page. My driving isn't great, because I haven't played Dirt Rally in ages. But I'm going to be playing a lot more. By far, the best VR experience. GTSport is prettier, but it's just eye candy. Dirt Rally is crazy cool. You really have to let yourself get absorbed, and then, it's a cool deal.

Using Vr is extremely hard on your eyesight and brain driving rally cars, me included have gotten serval migraines,

Try track cars and make sure fov is set correctly ,you will adapt to it but not as good as oculus
,it's put me off VR as my son has vr or rather I bought it for him lol ,the joys of having a family,

I can't afford vr for myself , and just aswell as it also hurt me eyes, another joy of getting old ,we are BOB
Just in case some of u ladies I mean gentlemen don't realise senna94f1 is that misable old fart, mark___f1

Put my vote in (Grp. B for you newbies). Have to say, it was a tough choice. After testing both cars at the Silverstone tracks, I'm glad I tested. One of the cars is a lot more fun there, in my opinion. I recommend you guys testing a little yourselves. Without testing, I probably would've chosen differently.
Glad to hear there are folks testing, lol. I like all four of the cars up for vote this week, will be good watching the A guys trying to keep their cars on track! Especially when it snow's

Thanks for posting that for me Jeff, that make's me want to try it even more now. It definitely does look different, especially looking out the side so quickly, helpful after a crash!
And btw, you really gotta start listening to your co-driver more,

And another British BOB joins the fray, love it!

Guy's, glad to see the votes so far, 5 in each class now, keep em coming! And @SGETI, keep your grubby fingers out of the voting forms, lol.

I got to try out an Occulus rift with PCars2 yesterday.

When looking straight ahead, the view is the same as looking at a screen, I was expecting more of a side pic to take advantage of peripheral vision but until you turn your head, which is really cool, there is not much difference. The 3D effect is Awesome, I really liked that. What I didn't like was the pixelated and blurry environment. The graphics are terrible. It was heavy on my head, weight wise.
I haven't tried the Sony one yet, but if this experience is the norm, I am definitely waiting for the next gen VR system before I give up my screen.

Going to be a fun Monday! Slippery little devils! I originally thought I'd pick the Ford, but found the transitions from brake to throttle were really tough at all the Silverstone tracks. I think the Ford would be more fun on tighter tracks with shorter straights. The BMW, well she just likes to slide!

Thought we would be nice this week and announce the track at the same time to help decide on the car. I agree the Beemer is better at SS.
Just leave the "devil" remarks for David! :D

Huh.... my I pad is really dropping the ball on notifications. This pops up after my post about changing my vote.
As David would say....lord have a hand.....
I have one suggestion tho....how bout next round, a and b side switch cars. I'm sure there is more than this old bear in the b side that would like a crack at that p330..

How much easier and quicker can next round decision be than the above suggestion?
I know this A side driver would really like a crack at that BMW.

All you @aerolite and @Mike Lobban need to decide is a new venue.

Don't fret now my fellow BOB's, Mike and I have already discussed a twist on the A & B thing!
And @SGETI , I do believe the only night you ever missed with us was the night we raced the BMW, back on May22nd last year!

That was my born day!.

I've messed around with my son's VR. Unhealthy as in messing with your brain. After a certain amount of time you can become disoriented and develop small headaches. It is super super cool but I guess my brain knows it's not real and a

OMG!!! Please, please, please run the International circuit first Monday night. It doesn't matter how many times I tell myself what track I'm on, or how many laps I run on the International Circuit (:dunce:), if I run any other layout first, I try to turn left at the loop/link. I'm seriously worried I'm going to cause a full field pile up by trying to make a full on left turn at a little left kink!!! Well, do what you wish, but you've been warned. :dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:

As much as I hate to give away trade secrets. I picked up a pair of these a couple weeks ago. Holy smokes do I love them for racing! Try a pair if you like to wear gloves when your race. They're soooo nice.

I love those Mechanix gloves for working on the car in the winter, keeps me warm! For sim driving though, barehanded is the way to go for me

In the racecar, I just got these bad boys for Christmas and Ho Lee Fook (one of bears crew members) are they comfortable!

I prefer nitrile. Don't ask why....

Thanks David, but it was equally Mike as well!

Speaking of the combo’s, if any of you A drivers do some practice, can you note laptimes and fuel usage for me please and thanks. Save me having to do it.

Haven't seen Ted 2 yet, but the 1st Ted just about made me piss myself from laughing. When Ted had the hookers over, and one of them took a dump on the living room floor, OMG! "I remember waking my wife up, and she was in the bedroom with the door closed.

Sorry Steve, I haven't had a chance to make a video of Dirt Rally yet. Next time I'm on the PS4 I'll hook you up.

Aye Gr, guess what? I just finished watching Ted (the 1st one). Got it on DVD yesterday. Man I thoroughly enjoyed it. That was one freaking awesome movie. Never knew it was so good. Looking forward to getting Ted 2 now.

Junior was playing with the VR yesterday Steve. He just mentioned now, "oh, your friend Steve sent you an invite yesterday when I was playing the PS4." Sorry we ignored you.
