For you guys wondering what PlayStation VR is like, here are some YouTube videos that simulate VR. I know that they’re kind of cheesy, but it’s as close to VR you can try without having a headset. Watch them on an iPad (they might also work on other tablets too), and move your iPad to “look around”. No where near as immersive as actual VR, but it’ll give you an idea of what we see wearing a headset. Note to moderator: if this content is inappropriate please let me know and I’ll remove it ASAP.

***
Update: sorry guys, the videos aren’t working correctly using the links I provided. When I watched them directly on YouTube it was a regular view (like watching tv) and you could look around by moving the tablet. You might need to go to YouTube itself and search for the videos to see them as they should really look. Search something like: 3D VR 360 and select one where the thumbnail view looks like a regular picture, not one that has a 2 image “binocular” picture. And it needs to be on an iPad, laptop or tablet because you need to be able to move it around. Or you can buy one of those cheap VR headsets that Walmart and other places sell for $20 where you slide your cellphone into it to act as the screen.

:gtpflag: Announcement :gtpflag:

Race night is back! Even three weeks has seemed a bit long to me to hold the "Mr. Baawesome" title, and I know Lobban is certainly getting tired of having to listen to me :D

Group A - Max starting fuel quantity = 22 liters

Group B - Max starting fuel quantity = 14 liters

Silverstone
National - 28 laps
GP - 12 laps
International - 25 laps

:gtpflag: Another Announcement :gtpflag:

I have one suggestion tho....how bout next round, a and b side switch cars. I'm sure there is more than this old bear in the b side that would like a crack at that p330..
How much easier and quicker can next round decision be than the above suggestion?
I know this A side driver would really like a crack at that BMW.
All you @aerolite and @Mike Lobban need to decide is a new venue.
Ooops.. uhhh..
'Great to hear, I really love that 330'
Friggen' computers....

So Mike and I have been thinking about switching up the groups a bit and having Grp B drive a faster car for a change. The above would take care of that. It seems a few of you liked Bears idea of switching this weeks cars next week so we will do that.
We don't get much in the way of suggestions from you guys so here ya go. And how about some suggestions for a track that suits both cars as well !

On another note: @GUTTERBOY3007 , where did the hot blue haired girl go ????

Blue hair??? How blue? I'm gettn lonely and will settle for a blue hair..........as long as she 'scapes the strategic spots.

Welcome back everyone. Who's ready to ruuuuumble? We have some new meat to intimidate into the lounge, welcome, no talking, no jokes.........bwaaaa, who am I kidding, the banter is what makes this room suck....I mean succeed.
Listening to Aero for the past three weeks has been painful to say the least. We have to make sure he doesn't repeat. Won't be an issue tonight though, he sucks in the Bimmer.
Did I see someone whining about wanting to start on a specific track? There's no whining in the Lobanaro Lounge, guess what track we won't be starting on tonight? Way to go Bishop. Wanker.
If group B drives group A cars, does that mean group B is now group A for the week and group A is now group B.....I'm all grouped out.
I still can't figure out why anyone would want to play GTSpurt instead of P2. Personal opinion.....I guess.

@Aero: that blue haired girl (young, not blue/grey haired old woman, Mike) video and a couple of other links I first put in my post were off of YouTube but were borderline NSFW so I figured I’d switch them with plane and car 360 degree videos. I didn’t want to post anything the moderators might have an issue with.

You still never answered gutters first question...letting all those people in without smelling their ass....
Omg..the expression on that dogs face, I spit coffee all over my iPad.

If group b drives group a cars and leaves New York at 8 am and group a drives group b cars and leaves San Francisco at 9pm...........wait,...what was my point?..... never mind, now my head hurts.

Oye Aero. You sure the max starting fuel for Group B with the BMW is 14 liters bro?
On the Silverstone GP, 22 liters = 3 laps eh. With pit 3 + 3 = 6 total (You have Silverstones GP - 12 laps total).
Not sure about National and International as haven't checked yet.

EDIT: Could be wrong. Just did 5-6 laps starting with max 14 liters with the BMW on GP.
The strange thing is when I adjusted the max fuel level to begin with the game estimated 14 liters = 3 laps.
Thing is still though during practice just now although it went 5-6 laps I don't think it was sufficient to complete the 6th which was to pit. Ran out of fuel. Might be cutting it close for the halfway pit mark.

It's not letting me sign into the network guy's. Not lookin like I'm gonna make it. Wth? My PS4 has never done this with signing into the network itself. We have snow falling so maybe some cheesehead hit a line down at the mall like last week and the yr before. Butler Paving... bunch of muppets.

You missed a great evening waffle, the Ferrari pushes so bad when you’re trying to roll the corner, you really have to steer the car with the brake and throttle. I actually really liked the way it drove and I think it suited my slippery driving style. Minus some boneheaded mistakes by me and it was quite the return back to the regular monday program!

Except the bum talk seemed to have all the old boys giddy for the last race ;)

The "talk" overall was quite entertaining tonight. Give these boys a few weeks off... and watch out. Everyone wants to let out all their dirty talk they've been holding in for a month. Tonight was an absolute riot. Some amazing battles in the corners, some great chases, some great defenses, just all around good racing. Even though I didn't get through one race without somebody giving me a friendly escort off track :irked:... I was still sooo happy to be back with our motley crew. :D You guys are the best, even if you won't let me win. :p

08:33 - Late on the brakes
08:34 - Late on turn-in
08:39 - O.O.B. (Oh Sh..!)
08:44 - Careful (?) re-entry
09:02 - WTF?!! Couldn't Mike and I have sorted it out among ourselves? Back off Body Guard!:lol::lol:

EDIT:
So I just had my butt handed to me by the wife for being too loud tonight. In my defense, I explained to her that I haven't gotten to spend any time with my friends since before the holidays. These are guys I've gotten to know pretty well over the past several years, and we haven't talked to each other in a couple weeks, so we were excited to be reunited. She actually bought it. You guys are my buddies now. We just need to keep it down from now on.

Great night of racing to start off the year guy's, those BM's make for some great battle's, Grp A should have some fun next week.
Looking forward to trying the Ferrari next week, it was very cool to watch Robbie and Camel come past us a couple of times battling for the lead!
My first two races were right up there with the best I've ever had, Jeff and I were together the entire first race and I had Lobban breathing down my neck for a good chunk of the second.
Wow Jeff, I watched your feed and that was a completely different view from what I saw, man I just totally rammed into you going by (9:04). I was definitely having some lag issues so I should have erred on the cautious side and realized that what I was seeing wasn't really happening, that gap was not real!! (You could see later in the race me lagging in front of you). I'm so sorry for that, all I could do was drop to the back behind you. In the end we did have an amazing race right to the end, you might have finished in front of me had it not been for that green Ferrari getting sideways in front of you. I also watched the start of your next two races, man, you couldn't catch a break last night during the beginning of the races! Oh btw, you didn't mention in your time stamps the great pass coming into the pits, (22:52), lol! And it's a good thing your wife can't hear the other side of the conversation's!

Once again it's congrats to @The__Camel for getting this weeks "Mr. Awesome", though he had good pressure all night!
And congrats to @Xradkins for the Grp B win and this weeks "Mr. Baawesome", great clean and patient racing Xrad!

Anyone going to be on PCars today? I’ve got the day off and am bored. Please send me an invite.

Got Greta Van Fleet cranked up to 11 on the stereo. They are young kids with 60s/70s rock n roll music. Sound a lot like Zeppelin but unlike other bands that try copying Zep, these kids are actually talented and write their own music. Check out Highway Tune, Flower Power and Safari Song. Just the kind of music BOBs love!

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwVBNowUqkUUIlIXO5xUk9uFVPrAHWY28

And here’s a couple of live songs from just a couple of weeks ago. Definitely not like most of the new music where everything is auto tuned thru a computer because no one can sing or actually play an instrument. These kids are going to be up there with The Black Keys and The White Stripes/Jack White for new(er) musicians who might help save rock from all this Justin Bieber and (C)Rap “music” that comes out now.

Thanks for this link, they sound pretty good! Have them playing on headphones while cleaning snow off shop roof!

So next week the two groups are just changing cars? Bear you may regret wanting to drive those Ferrari cars. Regret may be a strong word because they are fun to drive with the key word being drive but when you have to race them or push them to the linit of going faster than the next guy the are completely awful for that. It may have looked like me and Robbie we're having tight racing but we were only side by side one time. It's follow the leader ....there is no side by side with those cars

Thanks Gutter!! Did not know about them and I am pleasantly surprised with the Rock 'n Roll quality. Thumbs up!

Glad you guys like them. It's hard to find good rock today. There are few decent bands from the 2000s, but I stopped liking most music after the 90s. Foo Fighters, Offspring, Green Day, Blink 182, The Flys and bands like them were the last decade of music I enjoyed before I became a "BOB".

@ aero: What is snow? We're 65 (18 celcius) here today in the Denver area. I'm out washing the cars and trying not to get sunburned. Hope you don't get frostbite!
