Well you missed a fun and crazy night in those trucks Red, we had a blast, though I think it scared off some of the A guys! So a great example of what might seem like a weird idea turning out to be a lot of fun.
Not quite sure what to make of the random penalties handed to some last night after the update, but time will tell what's going on.
Sgeti gets his second overall in a row :bowdown: and kudos to Spiff for his first overall win 👍👍, good stuff guys! Remember Spiff, we encourage bragging for the week that you hold the "Baawesomeness" title! Yea, you can brag too if you want Sgeti, but it's just not the same coming from you A types :D

Mr. Baawesome chiming in. That was a great night last night. Finally found something that I can win in go figure. Real Race car can't drive worth a crap. 2 trucks that are jacked up and handle like a 90 year old hooker with one leg, no problem. Had some great battles with Alex and if it wasn't for the penalties Rob had me by about 6.4 to 7 seconds on the last race so I tip my hat to you. Thank you to SMS for screwing up the track penalty system even more then it was. With out them I don't think I would have won the last race let alone the overall Baawesome title for the week.

I think that was the closest racing in a long while. A ton o fun. That Bronco is for me, the hardest vehicle to tame....never did get to work right. My downshifting issue only shows up in certain cars.....the PU was fine, but the Bronco was giving me fits. I drove in auto for race 2 and that sucked even worse.
Spiff......you got the idea. Man, are you Baaawesome or what. As a first time winner, you get to lube up the Baaawesome balls before inserting. Next time you will have to use spit. Third win...nothing, going in dry. Fourth win, you get moved up to A. Believe me, you don't want it dry. You ever see Aerogimp walk? Results of his third win.

I could feel GR8lakes watching my broadcast for a while.....was I wrong? Miss you Buddy, we go back a looooong way. Back to my first ever online race, back when you were Bishop. Hurry back, I'm running out of people to offend. Lol.
Keep the combo ideas coming guys, Red hit a triple on this one, anything will be considered unless it sucks, lol.

Yeah, Race 3 I was using SGETIs tune for the Bronky and debated on whether or not to use LSDs, as I had tried in practice. Decided not to - wrong choice. Race 4 I unlocked 'em and it was much better.
Great combo @Rednose58 ! It was close competition and actually a lot of fun trying to find the fine line between brute manhandling and finesse that these trucks needed (my extensive experience with one-legged hookers came in handy here). And in spite of Aerobob's jinx at the start - I kept it all together! Great racing all around- congrats to Spiff and SGETI!
 
I watched some of your stream last night Mike, looked like a ton of fun. And those buggies made it look like you were racing on the set of Mad Max or something.

You walloped SGETI pretty good heading into the corkscrew. +10 points! :lol:

BUT THEN , never to be outdone by Steve... Mike goes and T-bones Sgeti on the corkscrew in the next race and I somehow win. I might be getting the races mixed up though but... you bobs are setting a good example ;)

In my defense, copious amounts of beer, whiskey, and a bit of meds was consumed, so who wouldn't need a walker at 3 am! Still wasn't as funny as Mike stumbling 20 steps in reverse, just missing Eh Team's camper and finally coming to a stop without falling! Wish I had video of that. But hey, it was only us BOB's still up, all the younger princesses had all gone to bed!

You might want to watch that again, I ran wide and went clear off the track, meanwhile XRad and Spiff got together allowing you to get through. I came back on track clear of all in front of you. You must be on the same meds as Mike!

Howdy, y’all! Just saying hi from Texas and hopefully I’ll be online soon participating in the shenanigans again. We close on our new house on the 15th and then the movers are there the following Monday. I can’t wait to get the home theater and sim rigs set up again. These Texans don’t quite know what to make of my twisted sense of humor, so it’ll be nice to be back with you miscreants. Here are some snapshots of Texas life.

It was race 3 and I was the one that went balls deep with no brakes in the last turn trying to gain some spots. Did not work out to well for me.

T'was a beauty of a cluster-f either way, I remember seeing you coming up on me and thinking "he isnt stopping.." then hearing you say something like "oh no im not gonna get it stoppeddd" so i got out of the way :p, then caught a sweet firework display of broken car parts and laughter.

Knowing me it was nothing like that at all.


Died laughing at that Assetto Corsa video though that has to be the best crash ever
 
I know I can't race here any time soon (or maybe ever) but I sure do miss you guys and your antics. Always sad to hear about back problems because I've lived my whole life with my dad always having them in one way or another. Wish you the best @Gr8_Lakes. @GTLehman I see your part of the world on the news every night and I worry how it affects you, in daily life and as a pilot. Be safe up there.

It's really nice to see the SNAIL spirit moved on to a better game and you have full rooms every week with like minded people. I watch the streams and that last combo looked great. The Trophy Truck is at home being slid around and powering out. It would be nice to get in on that comradery again if I could but I'm not expecting any handouts. Just keep up the good times and more good times will follow.

Obligatory "wakka wakka" for @aerolite and @Mike Lobban. Penguin out.

Mike, read up on Maj. Shul if you can. Over 200 missions in Vietnam. Shot down, burned over a majority of his body. E&E for a couple of days before being rescued. Told he was going to die by the doctors. Started rehab, beat the odds, but told he’d never fly again. Proved them wrong and became an SR-71 pilot. Impressive story, impressive guy.

The new and improved DP might be better, but the past has a way of kicking you in the nads and as BoBs (thank you), we remember all of the wasted effort and time invested in you Only to be kicked repeatedly in the nads ourselves. It's cool you watch the races, but, don't hold your breath to ever be allowed to join us. Steve and I have built a room where there has been no, none, nada controversy since inception and our goal is to keep it that way. Sgeti (Mr.Meds) is the only one so far to be kicked out for dissing the BoBs in charge and for shatting his pants mid race. No soup for him.

All fair points. I've seen some silliness here over some combo/weather choices but I know it's all in good fun. I will continue to race and do my best in everything I do, whether you care or even know by watching from a distance. Would it be alright for me to socialize with you guys in this thread even though I can't join you on track? I understand you don't want to deal with me as a racer but what about just as a human being? Basically, and with all due respect, can we at the very least maintain a friendship? First round's on me. :cheers:
 
Allrighty then, this is where the popcorn eating will come to an end.

I cannot reply directly to DP as I stated to him last Sept 22 that it would be the last time he ever heard from me again. This was after 2 or 3 years of trying to help. The following came after the last barrage of wasted time, and I quote myself;
"That did it for me right there! I'm angry that I wasted my gd time again. I'm not going to try explaining things anymore. I wish you the best in your life and hope you can figure things out. This is the last you will hear from me, period. Good-bye." end quote.
I have stuck to that and will not ever change.
I will assume that he will be reading these posts, so the answer to his request of socializing with us on the thread:
