I like my cars crazy and wild.......I like my women docile and tameThat was a tougher choice to decide which car than I thought it would be. Do you like docile and tame or crazy and wild?
But if you kick our asses,..... we'll kick your ass right back into grp. A
If you feel you are quite a bit slower while getting used to the wheel, then we would have no issue with you racing in Grp B. Let me know.
I'm guessing a wheel will slow Sam down as much as death slowed down Jon Snow...

so I had to delete ”Sgetisucks”.
It wasn't me.....honest. It wasn't me.....honest. Really, it wasn't me.I just had to delete a vote from Group A. I’m sorry but if you put a name that I can’t recognize then it’s not going to count. Sgeti voted, so I had to delete ”Sgetisucks”.
Anyone play GTSPORT? The livery editor is fantastic View attachment 696369
I posted this in the SRM thread, had to put it here as well
All this time I've been trying to put my finger on it! Eureka!
I finally popped in PCars last night and was able to race with a few of you. I'm blown away, its 🤬 awesome! My steering inputs are so much smoother and easier, I dont have this weird deadzone with the gas anymore, everything is just 100x more enjoyable. No more going through turns by the seat of my pants, I feel like I have total control of the car now.
In the past the only time I would really play Pcars was Mondays and just show up with hardly any practice. GT is much easier on the sticks, and doing Sunday SNAIL full time didnt leave much room for me to want to play PCars other than Mondays. Now I can see myself playing it a lot more since its much more fun.
SGETI was nice enough to help me out with some wheel settings. His FFB is much stronger than what I have it set to in GTS. It shakes my entire rig. I'm worried it might take its toll on my T300 so I'll have to turn that down a bit. I've heard of peoples wheels going back in for repairs because of FFB being set too high. And I want to get both Sport and Pcars to feel the same since I'll be playing a lot of both.
I'll be off the pace for awhile, but I think the quickest way to improve is to stick with Group A and force myself to get better with the stiff competitors up there. I appreciate the thought though Steve.
See you guys on race night. And if david sees COTA as the devil track, then surely the Lotus is the devil car right?

Chris, you can touch whatever you want,I ran a few laps with the Lotus earlier...freaking awesome. Are we allowed to touch the #boostgate @aerolite @Mike Lobban ?
Ya know,... I read the posts on what car, track, conditions....but racing in 3....no wait... 4 leagues..."Group B: 1970 Lotus Type 49C Cosworth (vote was 5-1)"
I guess I was the only one manly enough to vote for the difficult to drive car! Just kidding. I just figured I'd vote for the car without spoilers/wings so if we stack up in the first corner there will be less damage and the race can go on without the handling being ruined.
Any chance we can have a wet weather race again? I can only hope the following will happen so I might possibly win another race: Lobban will select mudders again instead of all-weather tires, Bear will spend another 22 hours in the pits again trying to figure out his pit strategy, GT will be on slicks in the rain and not be used to driving in "cold" wet weather (anything less than 80 degrees seems cold when you live in Hawaii), and Aero laughing at how stupid all of us are for not knowing how to set our pit strategies even after warning us it was going to rain and his laughing causes him to keep missing the apex. The only reason I ran well in the rain on slicks is because that is ALWAYS how my car handles, whether or not it's wet or dry on the track. All my cars seem like they were built and tuned by the crew that made the Mazda RadBull.
That is a nice feature in Assetto.100% boost at all times or no balls... I think I’ll map a boost controller button onto my wheel right now...
Edit: Apparently there isn’t a command for controlling boost like in Assetto Corsa![]()
Granted, I'm not a fast guy, but I love driving the 99T. It seems to work quite well to step on the throttle then back off and feather it just as the boost kicks in.100% boost at all times or no balls... I think I’ll map a boost controller button onto my wheel right now...

Sorry to hear that.
I had a braking problem I was able to fix. The brakes kept coming on for me. If you open the pedal assembly, just set it upside down and take all the screws out (big and small ones). This way you can get to the parts/ wires and dirt. And, it's easily to reassemble it. If you do need to remove a pedal to get to the POTs (potentiometers) just remove its foot pad first. The wiring is nicely colored, so take some pictures so they go back the same way.
The POTS do get dusty and all kinds of stuff gets into them. Cleaning with air, or alcohol will work, but blow dry before it is powered up again. The shaft of the POTs have play in them and can effect the resistance the circuit sees if the fingers inside are not pressing hard enough on the printed circuit inside the POT. I had to slide a spacer between the bracket and the mounting nut to tighten the pressure on the fingers. Problem solved for my brake pedal.
Good luck and hope to see you back racing ASAP.
