Hi Brian, welcome to the Lounge, please send both Mike, @Mike Lobban and myself, @aerolite a friend request so we can send you an invite on race night. If you haven't already, please read the first few posts of this thread, the first paragraph in Report #1 is the most important. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
I will start you out in Group B.
Friend request sent. I will read the thread tonight at work and Thanks.

Yeah, they all think they belong in group B. Then they kick our poor butt's on race night. Welcome Brian. I'm sure you'll enjoy this group. We have a very good time on Monday nights. And this weeks car and track selection is superb, if I do say so myself. :D

Thanks and if your meaning by kicking your butts is that when braking in a turn I get mesmerized by your tail lights, miss my braking point and run into your butt then yes I may kick your butt. :dopey::lol:

In all honestly I have been racing on the xbox for about 3 season with a racedepartment league and about 3 seasons with a PRL league. The xbox is very buggy online which is why both seasons folded up for now. I just miss racing with people who like to have fun. Even if my car is banged up, I will race it to the end no matter how many laps are left or no matter how many laps I go done. I am a decent driver not great and not crap just middle of the road. I am still learning how to tune and to work my pit strategies. Main cars I have driven have been GT3 so driving something different will be a good time. Looking forward to racing with everyone.

Oh, you can say goodbye to the GT3s in this league! We drive 'manly' cars. Welcome Brian!

@2pf: Go back to Page 1, Report (post) number 2. That's where aero and Lobban put the cars, track and specifics about the race (fuel, weather, laps, etc.).

Where would I find the legal fuel amount for Mondays race?
I don't post the fuel or weather until Monday's, mostly because we are lazy and don't want to make any decisions over the weekend :D

The max starting fuel for each week will always get you half way or a bit more, but you are free to start with less and pit sooner. If you want to see exactly how I figure it out each week, Report #1707 on page 57 explains it. It's pretty easy.

Mike, Nick and myself, got treated to some kart racing today by Scott, a good friend of ours. We did the Super Grand Prix which was 5 min qualy and a 40 min race. Man we were beat after that, was pretty funny watching us get out of the karts at the end, a track worker had to help Lobban out of his  Track was really fun, 1/4 mile long.

Just get ready to hear the bragging that will be coming from Lobban, yes, he won. Nick got the fastest time.

1st - Lobban - 83 laps - best time -26.558
2nd - Aero - 82 laps (spun and got stuck) -best time - 26.895
3rd - Nick - 81 laps (had to pit and grab another Kart, his seat came unlocked) - best time - 26.407
4th - Scott - 80 laps - best time - 27.629
Track record is 24.5xx and most of the staff are in the mid 25's, guy said 26's are very fast for newbie's!

That is awesome!!! So happy to see stuff like this. Looks like you had a blast! About that laptime... @Eh Team might have to visit and set a new one... upset the locals and such. :D

Just browsing around looking at the packages for the Canadian Grand Prix. Found this one.... Apart from the 2 hot laps per person (as passenger) it is wining and dining, pit lane walks, grand stand seating and more.

Anybody wants to buy this and donate it for a Mr. Aaawasome and Baawsome Special prize? Note, it is "subtotal". I guess you still have to add HST..... and your plane tickets to Montreal.

Ok I just did some practice runs and races with the TransAm on Road America. Don't know bout the "A" car but that Trans racing well nice. And that Road America track is a gem to race on.
I predict we'll have quite an enjoyable set of races come this Monday night just like 2 weeks ago (think it was on the same track) and with some nice clean races....at least with Clear weather. Betcha a twenny.

Well it was 8 weeks ago when last at RA and it certainly won’t be clear all night this week, so you can just etransfer me that twenny!

And to the rest:

I’m liking this little friendly TT competition we have going, six of us in there, but Alex, get yer butt out of our car and go play in your MkIV, lol.
If any of you are not friends with Nick(dret7277), he’s done a 2:25.720, the only one in the 25’s.

And if any A guys are getting some practice in, can you please send me some lap times and fuel usage, save me having to go out in the car, thanks.

It was as much as 8 weeks ago in true? Whoa.

And about Dr Dre doing 1:25.720. Please tell me that is not with the Trans.

Ok, it wasn’t, lol. Go to the TT page for car and track and look at your friends results.
If you ever wonder what we have run, all the past races are in the archive in report#3.

A1:25.720 in the mustang? That’s on the full course of RA right?
Yes, the only deviation at RA is the motorcycle chicane, which we rarely use.

These are TT times which are usually faster than we will see in a lobby.

Just went to the TT with Road America and the Transam selected but not seeing Dr Dre listed. He's not on my friends list so not seeing him on the Friends section there either. Seeing yourself and others on my friends list though and you have the fastest TT time there of 2:26.458.

The fastest time on that track I'm seeing is 1:55.181 with a Mercedes CLK-LM followed by a bunch of other Mercedes CLK-LM and no TransAms in the top 30 either. I has consprcy thery.

Not anymore, just did a 26.2....
Coming after ya Nick...
Not much of a Ford guy, but I'm sure liking the Mustang!

Can't tell you guys how happy I am to hear you're enjoying the Mustang. There's always this worry that nobody will like my choice. The Mark is fun too. I wouldn't have chosen it without trying it out. Both classes get track tires, which is nice for the rain that I'm sure will show up. Going to be a fun night for sure.

125????? Best I did racing with the bots was 2:20 in the mk 4 !! . Sorry didn't note gas consumption.

I posted these on the PC Cars official forum today. Anybody with similar problems?

1. Game freezes as soon as I cross finish line after qualification is complete (during the clock rundown). Happened twice in the last two weeks. I have to quit the game to fix. Not sure if it affects my rating or not.
2. When joining a lobby my game is stuck on the previous lobby settings I participated in (except race is 1 Lap). Sometimes I can quit and come back. Other times I have to sit and wait until I get a disconnect and then I can come back and join. These two scenarios happen a 100% of the time.
3. Every time after I gone back in the pits or when a race starts, my camera view reverts back to bumper view all by itself. No matter what view I was in. (it stopped doing it today though....)
4. Every now and then the game can't see my steering wheel and automatically puts me on the controller. I then have to restart the PS4 to fix. Lately what I do is not to activate the controller until after I need it in a lobby to use my mic. I should not have to do that.

I've heard about the 1st one. There's a guy @mattikake that posted about it happening more than 50% of the time (I think in the bug thread). I've only been doing AI racing lately so I haven't experienced it. Hopefully it doesn't mess up our league races Monday night.

Yep. It's getting more common. Odd how this wasn't a problem at launch. I've seen it in patch 4 and 5.

Solution is to cancel quali if the timer runs out and not to complete the last lap, a bit like pc1. Or if it jiggs before freezing hit options quickly and return to pits. You can carry on as normal.

@Rednose58 , in my case in many instances, when I cross the finish line the game slows down A LOT, like it wants to freeze. I normally quit to the pits right away to avoid the freeze. Not sure if its the same thing happening to you, but the timing, after crossing the finish line is weird. I'm on PS4 pro.

I had #3 happen for a few nights about a month ago but that was it, and then it was fine. I must be one of the lucky ones, (knock on wood), as I have had almost no issues with PC2. The only other thing that has happened is I can't get full throttle on Porsche GT1. That's it.

I see I posted a 1 in front of the lap times for RA, obviously a mistake :banghead: (fixed)

Ha. Told you. I see you corrected it now.

Anyways, time to post the amount of laps for tomorrow Monday. Get cracking.

*Pokes and runs*
