Giving you a heads up Lobban.....not only do we have practice tomorrow (which I have adjusted to be home in time most nights of the week) our local pet rescue is doing a spay/neuter drive tomorrow evening. We are very active with that and pending how things go I may not be there on time.
 
Ok, Camel, I'll send the invite anyway, maybe make it for the others.
No Pits..obviously , no fuel....finger out your own fuel......no tires......ride on rims only.
5 races at 20 minutes each will still keep us on time to finish before 11.
Prerace qualy will be open and invites sent at 7:45 to start at 7:50 into a 10 minute practice race and will quickly shift to all the tracks at Mohave. The last practice race will determine starting position for when the real racing starts. You can still join the room while the practice races are on and just wait for the next one to be able to practice. If anybody, hint hint....Shaun, can volunteer to keep track of the grid placement, that would be swell.
A guys......sorry.....that car is a biatch for sure. I feel bad........NOT, suck it up buttercups, I'll bet The Camel will tame the wild beastie.

Being and old fart, I thought you younger guys might want to see what I grew up with in the late 50s and early 60s when nuclear war was a real possibility. This was a real thing shown all over the place, movie theatres, billboards and school where we had to practice duck and cover. Scary times, especially growing up on Air Force bases where unannounced alerts were called at all times of the day or night with us not knowing if it was the real thing this time or not. I still remember vividly the fear I felt having to huddle up with my Mom and sister against the wall in the root cellar till the all clear sounded. I still to this day have a fear of disaster sirens.

I wonder how the room is going to be set up because, it seams that these tracks do not allow any Practice Sessions set up.

Also, I noticed that Tyre Pressure settings are pre inflated for hot temperatures.. Meaning, say I set my tyres for cold 19 psi, my car starts out with 23.69 psi hot.
 
Only saw the last 30 secs of reds race there, sgeti die or something?
I see a good lot of you aren’t racing tonight, and I know it’s because I’m not there ;)

My apologies to the A guys who looked to be struggling with that beast of burden Skyline, especially DP....I mean Alex.....the special Lobanaro approved cryin towel is in the mail, pass it to Sgeti when you're done. Bwaaaaaa.

I had fun fighting with BTD and Pots all night, I shouldn't have waited for Dave in the first race, but it was boring dominating like I was. :bowdown:
I guess since it wasn't a points night, my Baaawesomness carries over for another week. See how I did that?? I'm smrted :dunce: more than you think.

Next week will be vintage open wheels at vintage tracks.
 
Just wondering. How come we mostly get to race them GT and similar box shape cars and hardly if any of them fancier LMP cars?
Would be nice for a change I think to get to race some a dem fancier super-duper cars on appropriate tracks to suit.
 
It was actually fun. When I first got into the car it was frustrating. After playing around with the tuning I actually manage to keep the car on track and enjoyed the challenge. The only one I just couldn't get right was the cyote noose. The rest was a blast.

In the end, it doesn't matter what you throw at us. We need to get behind it and Nike it

Because they are too fast for poor old Mikey. I’m not making fun either, he said that.:lol:
 
Well boys, in some other news, while I have been in the hospital I had to leave Dolly with Mike. Well, it didn’t take long before he went to far with the old girl and she just couldn’t take it anymore. I warned him but no, he never listens to me :banghead:
I had her sent to the pelt factory so I could use it here at the hospital. Poor Dolly.

Poor Dolly my ass......or should I say, her ass. Every time we got jiggy, all she bleats is Baaaaaero Baaaaaaero, she wanted you back, can't have that. I did get most of the stains out tho and gave her a nice trim. Lamb chops for supper again......Baaaawesome.

As for LMP cars......you want em, you got em. Just cause I don't particularly like the LMP 2s much doesn't mean I don't like the rest.

Steve mentioned to me today that there were a few times where guys did not concede after causing a collision. Even if an A guy takes out a B guy, he must concede, even while lapping the B guy. This is one of the only rules that we abide by. Foul language, filthy jokes, plus clean and proper track etiquette in that order works.

Okie dokie.... I was just repeating what you called me on the track when you spun me out at the finish line, but point taken.
Not sure if I took someone out or not, but I'm sure I didn't use foul language on the track, just remember you saying "you dirty

But but, I call everyone and every car a dirty basturd. As long as I'm laughing while doing it, you know no offence was meant. Wait a minute....Who took out who? Race 1 and 2 last lap, both races. I hit an out of control car that slid into my path, the video will back me up. Did you think I was mad about it? I was laughing my ass off trying to get turned around to beat you like a rented mule. I only get mad at myself for stupid track errors or Colts, when he babbles. I thought we battled well all night.

That's what I thought, and i jokingly said what I said in the post as a joke, not sure what Steve is referring too, I guess... It is what it is :confused:
